It isn't good though is it. I am from the old fashioned school of thought that within the dressing room that's where it stays and the manager is always the boss, once he loses that he is finished. Read nice guy Bobby Robson's autobiography about a fight in his early days at Ipswich with Danny Hegan, bit of a wild boy in his time. Lasted half an hour, claret everywhere, but Hegan still played again for them. Volitile places football dressing rooms especially after an adverse result. Biggest mistake SP made was going public with half a story.

Seems a bit schizophrenic in terms of how he chooses to present himself in front of the media.
Cast off comments about people not playing for the club are daft as well.

I notice that Pressley commented on this in his post-match interview. Though he wouldn't be drawn on whether he was disappointed in Reda, he was very pointed in his praise of Carroll.
I've got to say that in my opinion Reda could have made it back to Heathrow by Friday afternoon, had he so wished, and made the game on Saturday. Not ideal preparation, but it's what I'd have expected from the captain.

The physical effect of playing would have been far greater on Reda. As it turned out Carroll didn't have much to do, certainly CCFC never tested him

Totally agree. Reda is an outfield player, it does not take as much out of a goalkeeper to play two days running. If he was off his pace he would have been crucified if he had been half a yard slow and they had scored. If it was that easy, every outfield player would be back the next day IMO the criticism is a bit harsh

Yep, I take the point, but we're not talking about playing two days running. We're talking about playing, and then having a day sat in an airport for a few hours, or on a plane for a few hours, and then playing. That, to me, isn't ideal but it isn't impossible either.
In fairness I don't know how many other players in similar situations made it back for their weekend games, but I am a bit disappointed that it seems that there wasn't any great intent to do so from our captain, and it sounds like SP might be a bit unhappy too.
I don't mean to be harsh on Reda, and I'm not saying he should be hammered for it. I can see both sides of the argument here fwiw, what you're saying makes sense too.

What is wrong with people nowadays?
I drove back from a big night out on the south coast, with a raging hangover, through a horrendous storm, and still made it time for kick off on Sunday morning.
We didn't win though, and I played shockingly badly. But then that happened every week so no one was any the wiser.
