The programme was at fault - not the trust here. They should have been reported as XYZ - Coventry City Supporter as opposed to XYZ Trust member etc and something they would not have had control of.
Naturally I disagreed with their view, but they are entitked to hold that opinion and it's getting the word out there into the public and any vehicle that can be used to highlight our plight in the media is a good thing.
It would have been nice to see a cross-section of opinion in the interest of balance to have seen both sides represented, but with such a limited sample of fans that is always likely to happen.
I agree with that.
It would be interesting to know if the BBC requested that all the members who were interviewed had to go along with the 'we'll do anything to get rid of the owners/it's time for the owners to go' stance.
Was there not room for an SBT member who doesn't think that? I think that would have made for a more balanced representation of both the Trust (which purports not to be exclusively anti-SISU) and the issue as a whole.
Basically then there is people on here who will only support a group designed to protect ccfc fans interest if all members have exactly the same personal opinions as them.
As far as I've seen the trust hasn't said anything about admin. Its members have only expressed a personal opinion (which I happen to agree with). Even a moron can distinguish between a personal opinion and an organisational policy.
Everyone on here has their own view. Some people think sisu are great or at least the best current option. Some people have 'sisu out' sign offs. Some think acl are 100% in the right. Some people have gone so far as to say we would be better off going into liquidation. And everyone has their view about the Trust. There are only so many times Jan or others can repeat the first couple of posts he made re LKO. People invariably interpret new facts so as to fit their currently held views. That's exactly what is happening here with people who for whatever reason don't like the Trust/don't thnk fans can make a difference/etc - on the other hand, the number of people willing to chuck in a quid and see if there is a chance of a supporters' group helping move CCFC in a positive direction is well over 1200 now and increasing by the hour. PUSB!
having been asked those questions what would you have said? The fact is, under SISU this club has lurched from disaster to disaster. I'm a city fan through and through and i want what is best for the club, so yes judging by the last 5 years my opinion is that is not SISU. Am i supposed to say no.. the fans are happy, have a great relationship with the owners and everything is dandy?
By the way we had no input into the questions asked, Laura and the team had those lined up already. All i have done is given my honest assesment of the situation.
We spoke to many fans on saturday and the overriding feeling was that whilst administration is not a good thing and lets be clear, if it can be avoided obviously we would prefer it, but opinion was that if it meant the end of SISU fans would accept it.
Am i supposed to say no.. the fans are happy, have a great relationship with the owners and everything is dandy?

Some people just don't get that the majority of fans feel this way. I think your comments sum up my stance.having been asked those questions what would you have said? Laura's question was asking me what i thought Nick. so i answered it with what i thought. what else am i supposed to do?
the majority of the people i speak to have had enough and want this whole thing to end one way or another. you are honestly telling me the fans trust the owners???
Surely, it's not difficult to add the words "personally speaking" when answering a question?

What he said ^^
If more people would use "personally speaking" or "in my opinio" instead of stating things as facts all the time, we would all get on a bit better.
Also can I ask why is there such a high level of secrecy about these rumoured interested parties? If you know something why not share it with your fellow CCFC fans?
And that is exactly what they should have done.
It's just 4 blokes from SBT who think admin is the way to go. It is not the standpoint of the SBT.
