Joy Seppala makes accusation that wasps were involved in Bid & wanted control of CCFC - wasps issue reply stating categorically wasps were not involved & neither was the wasps chairman, and oh look Joy & big bad SISU are lying again they say
Person directly involved with the bid & one of the financial backers confirms he pulled out because wasps were involved in the financial backing & its stated they were to take ultimate control of CCFC - wasps decline to comment
hmmmm
Of all the parties involved only Richard Overson doesn't have a position to protect
What would he have to gain by saying that Wasps were involved in the takeover bid if it wasn't the case?
He sponsored the Academy instead
I know who I believe
I did get the feeling that there is a drip feed of information that's going to come out from SISU, now they're no longer sub judice
Sorry, I don't like consipiracy theories.
I would like to know whether when the council were talking to Wasps before the Northampton move, they were very quick to say ACL were looking at buying them. Was this true or was there, even then, a plan for Wasps to buy CCFC?
Some things about it don't add up - how could ACL have bought anything if they were struggling, etc
I know we should not fully believe any of them but if CCC have been scheming since then I cannot find the words to express my thoughts!
I guess the full truth will never come out.
There is evidence that the council were attempting to bring London Wasps to the Ricoh before our rent strike started.Sorry, I don't like consipiracy theories.

I’ve no idea who is behind the road safety account but he seems to know his stuff and runs rings round the council. I get the feeling it isn’t guesswork on his part that worse is to come.
However, although ACL have seized the initiative to force a change of ownership, Sisu could turn the tables as the apparent end game plays out.
The Coventry Telegraph can confirm that the American, who has a fortune estimated at $250million (£157m), is being lined up by Ricoh Arena owners ACL to take over the football club.
This could force out Mayfair-based hedge fund owner Sisu, which has ploughed more than £40m into the club and had hoped to acquire a stake in the Ricoh.
They don’t help themselves do they? Councils should be open and transparent, CCC seem desperate that nothing is ever questioned, and not just when it relates to CCFC and the Ricoh.

Does show the council are interested in supporting the city’s football team doesn’t it?
Let's see what they say to the EC when their investigation gets underwayIt seems to me the council have dug a very big hole for themselves, and it just keeps getting bigger the more that comes out. That sounds like the response of someone under pressure.
Wonder if this is the same sort of not involved as with the PR company who were copying the council in on emails? It seems to me the council have dug a very big hole for themselves, and it just keeps getting bigger the more that comes out. That sounds like the response of someone under pressure.
Good old Les Reid

I get the impression, and before anyone leaps in this is just my gut feeling rather than anything I have evidence for, that CCC are being led down a path to tie themselves up in knots. Their responses seem to be predicated and followed later by something that contradicts their various statements.
I
tbh, i'm amazed that CCC legal people haven't stepped in ages ago to stop Duggins et al commenting on anything...
Have heard that some stuff will come out in the next 4/5 weeks. St Andrews may not be needed after all.
As a caveat this is only something that has been passed on and I have absolutely no evidence for it.

Shame for the staff tbh, as much as i despise Wasps the ACL staff have done no wrongRumours going round that ACL have laid off staff today and there was a problem paying wages. All not well there it would seem.
