That list does because its the latests accounts, not this years.
You have to factor in 3 clubs in the championship, plus you have others who had decent cup runs (Bradford), we were also in sixfields for 2-3 games and did a lot of ticket offers, and didn't really get thr commercial side goin
You're also ignore that not every club will spend the allowed 60%, so if we are usijg our 60% and others with higher turnovers a have a lower % wage to turnover than it is possible to have a top 6 wage bill.
If you want to discount that then, look how shocking it is that the likes of Fleetwood had a turnover just £200k less than ours despite have only a few thousand fans

This is exactly what went wrong with GMK . too much arguing , with each other. instead of keeping to the topic in hand .
No wonder the club is in a mess . when fellow fans can't debate in a grown up manner , on a CCFC forum .
In reply to the OP..... The club needs to engage with the community. It simply has to get more bums on seats. This city wants a successful club, something to be proud of. SISU fails to recognise that once the fans believe in the club the momentum will build.
And the way to do that IMO is to spend some money - SISU show you care about the club/city/fans and then the fans will come back. It's the 8th biggest city in the country FFS.

There are lots of replies, you just dont like the answers because most don't agree with you.
Maybe you just didn't like GMK because people didn't agree with you?
Still waiting for you to backup your claims / accusations earlier in the thread.
Club in a mess because of a forum? No, I'd say a bigger issue is people refusing to go to games and buying knock off club merchandise.
[/B]
Like I said in another post "Hello Mr Superfan" Who made you judge, Jury, and executioner then?...... Just for the record, I've never bought "Knock off Club Merchandise"
I have never claimed to be a super fan have I? There are plenty a lot more dedicated and lots who have to make bigger sacrifices than me to watch the team and fair play to them.
Earlier in this thread people got called Mugs for giving money to the club. Yet moan moan moan about money not being invested.
Just for the record, I don't think I have ever said you did?
My reply to your post was... Who made you judge, jury, and executioner with regards to not going to games. I added my two pennyworth and said I have never bought "Knock off Club Merchandise. Just letting those that have read your post know where I stand. Ok?
That's the problem nick. What is it, 7-8 years of terrible leadership? The fans have gone. Not going back. So if they want to make a success of this they have to invest. Otherwise they need to pass the club to someone else who wants to. All the clubs we see getting promotions and doing well have investment. We can't simply operate within the ever decreasing circles until we get relegated again. The club do a hell of a lot in the community and most of it goes un-noticed. I do still think they are missing things like OAPs in care homes etc that have I said a few times with little touches they can do that don't cost much but make a nice gesture.
It is all well and good saying spend money, but does the club have the money?
I am not too sure the city as actually that bothered about the club nowadays is it? Even before Northampton etc. The local media are bothered when they think they can get some clicks and sell some papers, I wouldn't say they are too fussed really either.
Fine, but I don't think it has been insinuated that you did has it?
If people don't want to go to games then it is up to them isn't it. It is just a bit ironic they are amongst the first to moan about investment while they refuse to give the club money.
Refusing to go is different to not being able to isn't it? Just to clear that up.
Errm It was YOU who wrote that statement, and unless I'm mistaken it is aimed at EVERYONE that refuses to go to games!!! So I think that statement is indirectly aimed at me! Correct? Secondly, your final statement is just as inflammatory as "Having a go at those that have moaned about the "Faithful 1k going to Northampton, Ironic? MUCH!

I'm sure a hedge fund has backers to pump money in. And it looks like FFP rules are nothing to worry about. Just look at Leicester, QPR, Bournemouth etc......
@ Nick..... Did you or did you not say this?........... "Club in a mess because of a forum? No, I'd say a bigger issue is people refusing to go to games and buying knock off club merchandise." You are expressing how you think, on Club matters. Don't twist words in future, your starting to make yourself look like Grenduffy(Not a good sight)
Really? I have just sent you a PM to explain it, because I don't think you are following properly.
I've seen the PM. Your answer to Bob's post is.... "No, I'd say a bigger issue is people refusing to go to games and buying knock off club merchandise." You're definately portraying those words as your own. Grenduffy Mk2 you should call yourself. BTW, when have I ever said I "Prefer to wear suits?" Take the piss in the open forum mate, they can all see what a prick you are then!
Aren't bournemouth and leicester both under investigation?
http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sp...inancial_Fair_Play_fine_more_than___7million/
I've never seen Grenduffy, or you for that matter, admit when they're wrong. Good time to start mate
You still dont get it.
Bob said that the forum is somehow making the club bad. So I said no, people who refuse to go to games and buy knock off merchandise is a bigger issue.
So let's break it down into facts
1. What is going to have more of an effect on a club? People refusing to give them money, or a message board?
2. this was said in reply to Bob, the same Bob who was on about buying cheap city shirts, and also calling people mugs for handing money over.
I tried to send you a PM to explain, but you just keep making your self look silly.
Do you really think a forum is a bigger issue for a football club than people refusing to go to give money to the club?
Stop trying so hard to somehow catch people out, as you haven't got a clue what you are talking about. It is you trying to be like Grendel, but failing miserably.
No, it's you that doesn't get it. You are putting the blame firmly on the shoulders of fans that refuse to go to games. As for buying "Hookey merchandise" I personally have never, and would never do it. It's the open dig at your fellow fans about not going to games that pisses me off, and I'd suggest those others as well. You jump down the throat of anyone being derogatory of those that went to Northampton. (I'm going to do a you now).... Surely that is pot calling kettle Black? Or is putting money into Northamptons coffers Renting the pitch, paying for a new pitch being laid, etc, not the same as someone that refuses to go to games? We refused to go to games at the Ricoh because we don't want to give SISU our money. Why the fuck should we be expected to give Northampton FC money too? ffs!!!

A bigger issue than what??? An internet site!!!people who refuse to go to games and buy knock off merchandise is a bigger issue.

I'll let you re-read your own words for a while.....
Re: Merchandise, it was Bob at the start of the season who instead of buying official merchandise and putting money into the clubs coffers, bought an imitation blue and white stripped Nike top and put some CCFC patches on it.
Then Bob asks what our owners are going to do as if to stay, why can't we be like Leicester.
I would start by putting whatever you can into the club financially as it'll help TM (or whoever) build something worthy of promotion.
I've said many times before, I can only go to approx 5 games per season due to location, work, other commitments. Maybe Bob is a season ticket holder so puts more money into the club than me.
But if you're going to ask what our owners can do, maybe start by looking closer to home. That money is better in our pockets than elsewhere...
What are you talking about?Have a read of my post #306. I don't give a flying fuck what Bob said/did, but I do give a fuck what Nick has had to say. Anyone that spoke out about going to watch CCFC at Northampton were slagged off. What makes his statement "Beyond reproach?" Is it because this is his forum? if it is, he can shove up his arse.
The club do a hell of a lot in the community and most of it goes un-noticed.
A bigger issue than what??? An internet site!!!
At least put in the full context
So you are saying it isn't?
Read it properly.
I saw something about the launch but not seen much more yetThere's a recent example. The club have started a Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund, not seen any mention of it.
