To counter act our embarrassment of seeing LCFC winning the title ? what are they going to do to get us back in the championship [Minimum] competing with our midland rivals ? surely , this is now the final insult ??

They should sort out the crisis in the Middle East first.

Not embarrassed at all. Also still don't believe they are even our main rivals, so I'm rather glad they won the league.

My guess is not a lot.

I am not happy they won it but it's far from the worst thing to ever happen to me so I will get over it.

As a mid-80s regular always saw Lestor as our main rivals, I'm annoyed they won it takes some of the gloss off our 1987 achievement. I'll get over it who wants the champions league when there is Jonstone Paints trophy

However entertaining it is to take the piss out of less fortunate neighbours a local rivalry shouldn't be the motivation to run CCFC well, that should be the aim of the owners.

So far I've been very disappointed by their performance, I have marked them as D-.

I saw a recent poll on their forum putting us second behind forest as their main rivals. Obviously this isn't every Leicester fan voting but a good sample.

I live in Leicester and the city is absolutely buzzing today. Constant car horns etc.... I'm so so jealous / envious, but also you have to admire it.

It ultimately compounds how down I feel about our club. It will never happen to us with owners like ours. They just don't seem to care about the club and its fans. A complete contrast to the foxes.

I don't see how Leicester's success has anything to do with our failure. If anything, it should give us hope. Knowing that hard work, commitment, fitness and the right tactics can overcome superior skills.

I was thinking more a U- if that is possible.

I fully agree with your opening line, it sums things up perfectly.

Since our owners are unlikely to walk away and admit a loss to their investors they will not leave willingly until they can get some money back.

CCFC aren't worth very much so there's nothing to sell until the value of the club is increased by promotion.

By Premiership standards Leicester have got where they are cheaply. Our owners may therefore conclude that you don't have to splash out cash to succeed and so will hang around even longer hoping for a miracle.

No they won't invest, they'll continue to load 'paper debt' onto the club until they have exhausted all legal avenues. This artificial debt serves to keep away potential buyers and acts as an efficient way of tax avoidance elsewhere in the group.

What usually happens with us is one of our local rivals owners make a cock up and then sisu try and out do that.

Any success for us will never happen until these twats go. Fishface has already said it's pointless us getting promoted because we can't compete and therefore will come straight back down.

Besides, would Leicester be champions if they hadn't cheated adminstration.

Ashdown, I didn't say they would invest so can't see why you disagree. Your comments reinforce my opinion. They will hang around waiting for a miracle or windfall.

Whilst SISU remain here at CCFC, their is no hope to look forward to. The club will never even see promotion out of League One whist they remain here.

The squad and management can learn a lot from LCFCs title win.

Amazing what a bit of togetherness, belief and fight can do.

Start by doing what it takes to get out of this league, by investing. And they can't lie about no money for investment either.

Nothing. Will the owners be embarrassed by what's happened to Leicester? No of course not.

I remember 2008 when we lost 4-1 to charlton on the last day and Leicester hit the bar to go down. If that shot had of gone in we would of gone down back in 2008 so it was coming anyway for us to go down.

What are our owners going to do?

I would like to say be inspired by Leicester and go for a genuine double promotion.
Or
win the court battle and central government give them £30 million that they spend on buying half of ACL and half on the squad get us to the Premiership and sell us.
Or
See that TM finishes pretty much where the level of investment should have had us finishing so they give him a top 4 budget. In the meantime agreeing a great 10 year rental with ACL.

What I think will happen.....

The break even point has risen to 14k they will lower the player budget to cover any losses. Try and keep the club self sustainable whilst the legal continues.
Try and agree short term commitments in various areas until the legal action ends.
If they do recover a large sum of money I think it will go to their investors and they will walk away. (Just a guess)
(We the fans will continue to demand manager changes as oppose to owner changes)

Makes me physically sick knowing the tax payers of Coventry could "potentially" be paying off SISU.
