They're still searching the lake as well, must have reason to believe there's more kids they haven't found yet. There's no words really is there, what a tragedy

Police and fire service press conference moved from 11:30 to 12:30. Makes me think they've found somebody else :-(

8, 10 and 11. All dead :(
And a 6 year old still in critical condition. So tragic, but what are they doing in a park by themselves?? I'm assuming there was no adult with them as surely they wouldn't haven't let them play on the lake.

Surely a 6 year old isn't out without their parents?

Ive seen it a lot in certain areas. Oldest about 11/12 sent out to “look after” their younger siblings. Not saying it’s the case here but some parents are of the opinion once you can walk and talk that’s pretty much it for parental responsibility.

So sad.

When I was at primary school, a 10 year old girl from my class was walking on the ice on the canal and fell in and died.

Awful that this kind of thing still happens. Luckily, it's rare, but still awful.

Think something is happening in Nuneaton. Saw a helicopter and Astley lane is closed by the lake.

Just been on the news the 6yr old has now sadly passed. Thoughts, prayers and condolences to all the family and friends involved with this awful news, can't bare to think what they are all going through 😞

Its a tragedy and such a temptation - I walked on ice in a lake in Wales I got back towards the edge and my foot went through to my knee - I have always considered to this day what a dickhead I was and I was 21 - very sad
