It's all against us.We seen glimpses already that Thomas and Kitching aren't afraid to mix it, they might have stood in Sakas corner and said a few words had they been on the pitch at the time. Outside of those two we appear to have a relatively quiet team. But as someone above suggests, our football is doing the talking.

Would be if it was the Premier League.
WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THIS FORUMperhaps tats could do that himself where he comes he probably know the art quite well
I think that was supposed to be a joke? Not sure but maybe? If it offends then maybe write in Capitals and explain why? Some people might be offended about you writing in Caps of course.WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THIS FORUM

With the greatest of respect, the issue isn't that you got the wrong country, etc.Sorry this septuagenarian was trying to make light of the situation.
Napolimp cut me some slack at my age don't know 1 countries art from another and certainly could not do them.
Absolutely this 100%With the greatest of respect, the issue isn't that you got the wrong country, etc.
The issue is that you went - Asian, must be good at martial arts. It's a boring and lazy stereotype that reinforces the view that Asia is a homogeneous place.
I've heard our fans make comments about Tatsu flying into tackles like a kamikaze, people saying he sent him for a 'chow mein' when he's gone past players, etc, etc, and I'm getting bored of it.
I'm sorry if you feel that I'm singling you out, but I think being an elder statesman means you have more responsibility to tackle this kind of thing rather than a 'Pass' because of it.

Not savvy to Pete’s connections, but surely someone on here can forward the clip to the right place so it’s seen. Then, let us know where to direct the evidence, because that absolute bastard can’t be allowed to just get away with nearly breaking Tatsu’s face.Don’t know if Pete could forward it to someone as well?
Yeah, you're right. It's a super great joke, mate. Its shockingly unfunny
On the other hand if he said he’d shove his bonsai tree up his arse..
What does it achieve in all honesty, critise the officials on the day by all means but it benifits everyone else apart from us with retrospective action? Not savvy to Pete’s connections, but surely someone on here can forward the clip to the right place so it’s seen. As it’s been stated, the EFL can and should take action, as the referee missed it completely. Surprise surprise.
Who is the player anyway? So it’s a bit less vague than to keep referring to him as a selection of vulgarities.
it might stop other players from taking the same calculated action in future. What does it achieve in all honesty, critise the officials on the day by all means but it benifits everyone else apart from us with retrospective action?
Martial Arts are traditionally taught as part of a national curriculum in Japan. They’re optional now, but were mandatory until about 10-15 years ago.WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THIS FORUM

If it was a joke, would have helped if it was funny? Didn’t offend me by the way, just thought it was daft.I think that was supposed to be a joke? Not sure but maybe? If it offends then maybe write in Capitals and explain why? Some people might be offended about you writing in Caps of course.
He did.Our captain should have gone straight to the ref.

I agree 100%.I definitely think we should be bringing this up to the authorities.
Someone could suffer irreparable eye damage one day. It can't be allowed to just be forgotten about and that the player gets away with it, when the evidence is crystal clear.
No I'm saying the ref should be sanctioned.I agree 100%.
As someone who once had their eye socket fractured (and still suffers visual disturbance 12 years later because of it), by a thug who got away with it, the level of passivity and ‘oh well, nevermind, what can be done’ I’m seeing on this thread is baffling.
No I'm saying the ref should be sanctioned.
I'm not sure how any of this is relevant - looking for a tenuous explanation is counterproductive.Martial Arts are traditionally taught as part of a national curriculum in Japan. They’re optional now, but were mandatory until about 10-15 years ago.
This is customary in most of the Far East.
I get the point that Tatsu wouldn’t start putting opposing players in a Jiu Jitsu hold and snapping their arms off, but still.
Personally, I think the definition of racial stereotyping is being taken too far on here, especially considering it isn’t racist or offensive to assume that a Japanese man knows martial arts.
Clearly hes a wrong un should have said Origami! He did.
The continued racial stereotyping of Tats is as depressing as it is predictable
No I'm saying the ref should be sanctioned.
‘Tenuous’, oh dear. Martial arts are culturally ingrained in the Far East, you may or may not accept this, but that’s your choice - by the standards of Eastern society, I doubt it would be close to ‘discriminatory’ to assume someone does/doesn’t have skill in martial arts.I'm not sure how any of this is relevant - looking for a tenuous explanation is counterproductive.
Nobody knows any of Tatsu's backstory. In fact, we don't know any of the players. We also have martial arts/combat sports in the West, meaning that some of our other players may have taken part in those activities in the past.
If it was known that he had vast experience there (like it was about Zlatan), then it's an acceptable conclusion to come to and an acceptable comment to make.
However, without knowledge and drawing a conclusion based on assumptions around heritage/culture/background, etc - it's at best a reductive stereotype and, at worst racist.

This wasn’t clear in your original post, sorry if there was a misunderstanding on my part.No I'm saying the ref should be sanctioned.
I think I possibly didn't explain my viewpoint accurately of course I don't wish to demean the consequence of retrospective action just that it will do to benifit us, afraid it's a byproduct of keeping the game moving at all costs. This wasn’t clear in your original post, sorry if there was a misunderstanding on my part.
So I've 'lost my head' by replying - Have you also? Or is that reserved for someone confronting your view?‘Tenuous’, oh dear. Martial arts are culturally ingrained in the Far East, you may or may not accept this, but that’s your choice - by the standards of Eastern society, I doubt it would be close to ‘discriminatory’ to assume someone does/doesn’t have skill in martial arts.
And it’s also your choice to label a cogent explanation to a cultural norm in the East as ‘counter productive’ to suit your ideological stance, however it is not. It’s culturally accurate.
Before you lose your head any further, I did actually condemn the ‘stereotype’ that he would have dealt with the assault himself, if he was trained. However, your rhetoric kind of nullified it.
What one may consider irrelevant, is subjective. All I was attempting to do was educate, so that a hasty conclusion wasn’t drawn.
