I don't understand how he's allowed in the dug-out if he's not technically coaching staff (and as far as I'm aware his new position doesn't involve day-to-day coaching, rather is just liaison between board and coaching staff which, he could do from the stand?) or one of the players? If any old eejit was allowed in the dug-out area, every club's chairman would be sat there surely?

Thorn is still working towards his I think.

As long as someone agrees to earn their badges they are granted permission to do the job. Southgate was one of the high profile examples who did this. There was another, but who they are escapes me.

Why would sisu sack him? He is probably on his chief scout wage and a contract which runs out at the end of the season. He is cheap as chips.
