Am looking at a sound bar for our TV as the speakers are crap.

Any advice on what is good? Also connection wise am I better with cabled or is bluetooth good enough?

I bought a JVC one in Curry's last Christmas. It was cheap and yet one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. I think around £79.

All I wanted was better sound than the TV had and from the front, so it fits the bill. You can spend hundreds but unless you have a huge room and really into your sound, then something akin to that more than adequate.

I have a samsung one (as the TV is Samsung), sound bar and sub woofer. It was a decent buy for about 150 ish. Like all tech buys you get what you pay for

Found this Wifi, SONOS "Play 1" mini speaker for £119 (refurb, 2yr guarantee) .
Quality brand and speaker, great reviews, says in the blurb, "buy 2 for Home Cinema Rear Speakers"
SONOS also have a 100 day trial/money back type deal too.
Play:1 – Mini, but Mighty | Sonos

You can pair these and have them as satellite speakers, but you need a Sonos Beam / Playbar / Playbase in front of the tv to connect them to before you can have them in a TV set up. Theirs no way of just having these connected to the TV on there own.

The Play 1's are great speakers though in there own right for just streaming music to.

Ah ok, thanks for the info! I'm suitably corrected :angelic:
