Usskyblue, why fo you kiss sisu's backside? You slag thorn off but who are the tight arse dickheads that made him manager?

I'm not sure we should be reading too much into this and I suspect Hussey will stay. I don't think he will command much of a fee and, from what I have heard, the Edge has not been convincing at left back. The usual doubters will say this will not have been noticed by Thorn, but he did echo what many of those who had seen Bruno in pre-season games had said and I think he is testing the water in these non-competitive fixtures. Wood is not a left back and I can see Kilbane's lack of pace being exposed, even supposing he lasts a long, hard season. I am not fully sold on Hussey, but think he has the makings of a decent left back and can see him having a good season this year. Would be very disappointed to see him leave at this juncture, without a replacement. We have a bit of history in lacking left backs, let's not get rid of our one true recognised one at this stage. As has been said already, however, if he wants to leave it becomes a different matter.

We have Wood, Edge and Brown as stand-in left backs, but no genuine LB other than Hussey and possibly KK. We need to sign another LB as it is, never mind sell our only existing one!!!

Brilliant another player likely to be replaced with an inferior freebie and people on here will still claim that we have a better squad team than last season :thinking about:

I thought that last years squad was massively short on numbers and full of children in the first team?

Also Hussey was bought as a rookie for no money so the whole argument is stupid.

I fear we may lose another good player. We should all have trust in Andy Thorn not like he hasn't made any good signings so far even if we have lost players

PUSB!

I heard a comment that both Fleck and Hussey were being rested for this match because they are dead certs for the first game of the season against Yeovil and the manager wants them to be fighting fit...

I believe the guy on skyblue player said this and he got it direct from Thorn...

He didn't look interested at Nuneaton also York ha him in his pocket all game!!!

Really? Me and my mates thought he was the only player who did look like he was trying! Our best (only?) creative outlet by a mile in that game, too.

Cant beleive the fuss over this. He played the majority of the Nuneaton game then, along with most of that same side, missed the Wrexham game. Now he misses one friendly, along with others, and yet he is being sold. This will be a long season if every time a player isnt picked its assumed he is leaving.

Give him a break, he's in his early 20s! What's he supposed to do at 23? Lights out a 7pm?

In what way does some inoffensive slang and him going out indicate a bad attitude?

A sham?

I was so convinced. The spelling was so bad in the tweet I just assumed it must have been from a footballer.
