The South stand is being opened with the Telegraph being shut. Great news as both those in Block 15/16 can be in the same stand as those who would be in the telegraph.

Not a bad idea in the long run. First few games I would Imagine all stands will be open though.

Puts more substance to the rumour of the rent being 5k per stand per game.

Prawn sandwich brigade and JSB zone. Plus those who sit in Tesco, although they may end with a crick in their neck from watching all our goal replays. :)

I thought the Tesco stand was the one they were closing? I used to get a cricked neck watching from the stand opposite the one that the players came out of, when looking at the replays.

IMO this will help improve the atmosphere imeasurebaly, yet people seem preoccupied with "getting their old seat back", really? There are 32500 of the fecking things. Pick another one. Oh, and it might hamper their view of the big screen. Modern football fans eh

Nonsense, the noise just doesn't travel well, particularly when nobody else joins in and the Ricoh is half empty.

Yeah that's the problem...or, it just sounds loud because you are sat directly in the middle of it whilst the away fans are out singing you.

Poor statement that. Admittedly during our last season at the Ricoh the numbers up there were no more than 500.

Now imagine that 500 at a ground like Walsall....... Or even Sixfields, would be bloody loud.

You need to get out more. Block 15/16 (shit though it can be sometimes) if far better than what most teams in this division can muster.

Probably. But it still doesn't make noise like many think. It's just full of meatheads like those who went and stood on the hill.

If you scour every ground in the UK on a matchday... usually 95% of the time, the away fans will be louder than the home fans, this is because its their day out, its the same when we go away, we seem to be louder away than the opposition who are at home, it is just how it is..

However, to say 15/16 is not loud is absolute ridiculous, without 15/16 making any noise, especially in the big derbies etc, then the ricoh really would be a morgue with the boring boring main stand and telegraph making no effort whatsoever.
