If they're going to win this, not only are they going to have to put in the best overall performance over two halves so far this season, they're also going to have to do something they hardly manage these days. Score more than one. There is a lot of exiting attacking potential in that Saints squad, and they sure know how to score goals. One goal will not be enough to win today, I don't think. If we don't get moving forward when we've got the ball, then I don't think there is any chance today. But, this is Coventry. So Poor against teams similar to us, but so often heroic against better teams.
One thing in that may be favourable. Southampton have looked almost invincible at home so far this season (I live in Totton, just four miles away and hear a lot about them on the news down here), but less impressive away from St Mary's.
