As for it being the EDL I've seen the footage on the main channels and I'm pretty convinced that whilst the police would like us to think it was organised by the EDF I'm not sure it was. Looks largely spontaneous anger by locals in the main.
I'm not condoning it but I'd be more surprised if nothing had happened. There must be unimaginable anger in that town.
As for targeting a mosque, if this lad is a Christian then perhaps the police should make some sort of announcement on this, like, he comes from a Christian family .

Indeed , the Police cop for it whatever happens and thats wrong…..but maybe they should also do their job equally, instead of being terrified of certain communities. That inflames things even more .I get tensions are incredibly high but I don’t get what having a go at the police will help tonight.

They're powerless and as I look at that I see anarchy . Law and order has clearly broken down. Those with knives have won and rule the streets.
