I was the same with the Ariana Grande bombing. But for the tickets selling out there was a very real chance my two then very young daughters would’ve been there. I had been looking at resale a couple of weeks before. The thought of those innocent kids watching their favourite artist at a once in a lifetime gig and that happening. Took me out for the bulk of the day after.
I really don’t know what the answer is here. Was worried sick a couple of weeks ago when my daughter was on a school trip to France as feared the election could spurn some nutcases to rampage. Florida in a few weeks and worry some mass shooting at Disney could happen. It’s extreme situations but really, is it THAT rare these days? Worlds fucked.

My comment the other day about race riots happening? I seriously think today is another major step towards it. Thing is it won't be race riots. As I stated those of other ethnic backgrounds and religions are also tired of certain demographics who are not interested at all about Integrating

I've noticed a shift in the last year or so. More people are speaking out on this subject .

I think we need to have a conversation on what offences do we actually want to lock people up for and what can be fixed in the community or even legalised.Something needs to be done for sure, but I don't know what exactly and it will take time and great effort.

There were race riots back in the late 90s at my secondary school. It felt back then like the lid was ready to come off at any time.
I have no idea how we are a 1/4 century on and the pot hasn't boiled over yet.

I think its becoming clear that even those who may have been quite liberal in the past, normal folk like most of us, cannot deny there are issues now
It's undeniable that unchecked immigration is leading to heinous crimes like today. It's undeniable that the amount of immigration, legal and non legal is one of the forces on the housing system, the judicial system, the health service, civil service.
And it's undeniable that as I say a certain number of people are coming into this country and doing what the fuck they like, how they like, when they like, have no intention of integrating and I think the common working person of this country is about done with being told its all ok
Thing is I really don't think it's going to be race riots in the basic sense of the word of it being due to someone's colour
I touched on this the other day but members of the Sikh + Hindu community whom I have many friends are also sick to the back teeth of the goings on at the moment, and are 100% on the same page that it needs stopping. If there are to be riots I'd be pretty confident that it won't be down to race and there will be many black and white people on the same side against what is, no denying the last few years, an invasion of scum

Seems he is Welsh according to the GuardianMerseyside police chief constable Serena Kennedy said a 17-year-old boy from Banks, Lancashire, had been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder over the “ferocious attack”.
She added that he was originally from Cardiff, south Wales.
I can remember 2 other attacks like this, both in the 90s and both carried out by British citizens, (Dunblane was absolutely horrendous).
That doesn't detract from the horror of today but as always with these events there's tendency to whitewash the past as some of utopia where bad things never happened and thats not the case.
Again, to reiterate, not trying to water down what happened today but it’s not the first time, be good if it was the last but I doubt it will be.
