Absolutely, but the legal process MUST be followed, as it has been.I felt they had to.
Especially with wrong names flying about the internet. Could easily result in someone else being wrongly attacked.

Yes of course it did. You've clearly misinterpreted what i was trying to say.Did the racism in the 70’s and 80’s not exist?
Am I going mad?
I had friends at school who were adopted by a wonderful family. They were brothers from a Jamaican dad and English mum I think. The eldest has never wondered about his dads background younger one always hasBut what i don't understand is why that person would still feel the need to identify as Jamaican, or even Black? As i said in my other post, i am white British so probably don't understand all the influences and ties to another culture (other than supporting Wales at rugby because my mum was Welsh). I would genuinely like to know, if anyone would care to share (even by DM).
The press, well certain wings of the pres,s can certainly be divisive, that's a fact, but I can't see how the press were in any way responsible for last night's disgusting scenes in Southport. What did they specifically do last night to stir up violence? It was idiots like GIMOC and Syrus on social media spreading false acusations of the boy coming over on a boat, etc etc that stirs hatred and violence. As I said earlier, right-wing groups were planning their "protest" yesterday.
I know you have dismissed the EDL accusations, but when people start getting arrested let's see where they are from. Merseyside?
Those who definitely stir up trouble are ghouls like Farage, Tice, Oakeshott, Anderson, Fox and similar who really do know how to prey on people's concerns and anxieties.

He's Muslim, doesn't appear that he is.

He's 17, no it's he's 30.
It really doesn't help anyone.

Them dogs coming over from Alsace, stealing our dogs' jobs! Not a British Bulldog, so legitimate target.
Not sure it changes much. Some people are still gonna see a foreign sounding name. Even if not islamic people are gonna believe immigration caused this horrible eventI felt they had to.

Is this the Daily Mail story?Anyone got any thoughts about this "Russia involvement"?
It certainly doesn't make me happy. If forum members don't post racist stuff then I won't comment.Yes you don't say, keep pointng it out as long as you want if it makes you happy
I don't know who suggested it first, but it's quite widespread now. This is to do with the riots, not the stabbings, i believe. Is this the Daily Mail story?
Convenient, isn't it? Our British Patriots don't want to cause trouble, they're being wound up by the Russians.I don't know who suggested it first, but it's quite widespread now. This is to do with the riots, not the stabbings, i believe.
I think they're wound up by children being stabbed to death if I'm honest TorchConvenient, isn't it? Our British Patriots don't want to cause trouble, they're being wound up by the Russians.
Me too, beautiful town !I've been to Oban a number of times, my brother!!!
Whoa there's a few of us Scottish lurking about on hereI've backed the views of you and @covcity4life many times with race issues on here, as I think whilst many can speculate and have empathy, only you know what personally feels like and whether you feel attacked by certain things that others dont see ... but Scottish? Ffs that's inexcusable
I’m wound up but I don’t want to punch someone or smash something up or attack the policeI think they're wound up by children being stabbed to death if I'm honest Torch
Nope, not for me. That's the excuse they're using for attacking police, police dogs, property, mosques.I think they're wound up by children being stabbed to death if I'm honest Torch
