Well there are some images of him at school and being banned for carrying knives

Ex school colleague said he wanted to commit a Rwandan style genocide

Father was implicit in Rwandan genocide
If that really is the case then you do have to question some of the immigration policies of the UK over the years.

Thge ripple effect of the misinformation and racism. There's a video of the trouble in Hartlepool last night. Some right-wing thickos singing their praise to Tommy Robinson. Asian guy happens to be walking past and one of said thickos punches him in the face. Wish they would round up all these hateful cunts and plonk them on a remote uninhabited island somewhere to rot.

I think that’s a breach of the ECHR isn’t it? Are you suggesting we need to leave it?

You're speaking about a town where they hung a monkey for being a spy Torch!

And, he does it all while sat by his pool in Spain, which triggers thickos throughout the UK.

It's insane. Only looked at one comment below and that said "this confirms it was a racially motivated terrorist attack.

Just because some random poster has put on there that he was in his/her class at school and was carrying knives and he said it needed a Rwandan type genocide to put things right here

Weird that some people don't believe the press or the BBC or the police, but DO believe that this person WAS actually at school with the boy.

Anyone can say anything online. You can't just take that as gospel. It's like the only came over a year ago etc. and it wouldn't take much at all to find a photo of the boy on the internet..

People WILL definitely take stuff like this as gospel.

“What does he look like now?”

I wonder what the significance of that is, Tommy.
Why would they not show an up to date photograph anyway? They clearly have access, why wouldn't they? Why infantilise someone who has murdered children? What is the benefit?

Well, if his dad was involved in the Rwanda genocide it almost certainly makes him a Hutu and by extension almost certainly a Christian. So what was attacking the mosques about? Opportunistic racist thugs.

Think it had something to do with a Muslim turning up with a machete

I read in a post online (so it must be true) that he the descendant of a Tutsi warlord, which is why i mentioned him wanting to commit atrocities against Hutus, perhaps.

I hope he dies an excruciating death.

Absolutely, but the problem is nobody seems to be able to have the conversation .. and let's be real that's fact anybody that moans about immigration of any kind Is immediately labelled .
Not sure that's entirely right, Evo.

It's just the "stop the boats" and "send them all back" and "why is it only the men that come over" and "they're all Muslims and want Sharia law" stuff that winds people up

I am more than happy to discuss immigration sensibly. Loads of others on here too.

We all know we can't just let everyone in. We couldn't cope with it. It's all about how you address it and find a solution, because at the moment, there doesn't seem to be one.

I see on FB loads of people moaning that Labour stopped the Rwandan scheme and that's allowed thousands to just walk into our country.

The Rwandan thing was just a smokescreen and was never going to work or solve anything.

More than happy to have a civil, sensible conversation. Just need to get away from migrants are bad and Muslims are taking over Britain stuff.

Why are we talking about the genocide thing as true?

Is there anything past someone on the internet saying that he said it when he was at school?

That is nonsense. One English person turned up to the vigil (FFS) with a flick knife (i.e. offensive weapon) and was arrested.
The posts which flooded social media (and consequently caused the events Tony enquired about) were as follows:

He asked a question, I answered

I think Deleted member 5849 made the point that it emboldens people when they see posts that reflect their views. Normally they would be too embarrassed to express them. And yes it is disappointing that there are actually some many.

This is unfortunately where we are with social media echo chambers, throw in Russian and probably Chinese bots/teams whipping up fury with further disinformation and you can see why the West is in a bit of bother

Social media platforms and posters need to held to account with regard to the spreading of disinformation, especially if it’s intentional. Thats not going to be easy but a hell of a lot more needs to be done
