Not working out well for some of the rioters (sounds painful from the female sounding screams)

Hold on. We're allowed to throw bricks, rocks and wheely bins at you. You're not allowed to touch us.

I would fully support Starmer's Stormers having water cannon capability. I really don't know how it was deemed "illegal" when Boris tried it. Change the fucking law so it IS legal. It is reasonable non-lethal force. Can you imagine what US police would have done if confronted with the mob in Southport the other night??
The thing that surprised me (having just watched some live and drone footage) is why the police line took so long to charge the crowd. When they did, the brave patriots scattered like a bunch of schoolgirls. Could have saved a lot of injuries and property damage.

I'm sick of these Youtube warriors trying to film "police brutality", while committing offences themselves.

It's exactly as I said in the airport and other riot threads ;)

Yep I agree with the water canons too, they would get a fair bit of use and could have put the fires out in Leeds too when the police were running away.

I don't know why they aren't legal and used for things like this, I'd watch the highlight reels of people kicking off being flushed away.

Totally agree, fuck around and find out.

Not sure about how people find "police brutality" entertaining but only if it's against a certain demographic and not another. It's just as I said in the airport thread that if it was Tommy Robinson hitting a copper and getting stamped on, the same people upset would have been loving it. (To be fair I would think fuck around and find out too).

The whole "he was just a little choirboy" while using pictures of him as a kid in the media is a little bit strange.

What next, pictures of Ian Huntley when he was 3 and that he loved his Nan?

Is this him?

Im guessing at 17 most of the people with photos of him were school kids

People look a lot different between 13 and 17. Guessing his social media has been removed if he had it.

For some reason it's being pushed as the poor young. autistic choirboy.

Strange as there's people who also say they knew him from school that say he was kicked out for taking a knife into school but its the choirboy approach all over the news.

Well, he still is a kid. Those pictures you've posted are most likely the only ones we'll see.

Why are they going to be the only ones we see?

Because he's locked up inside. His social media accounts will have been taken down. Who knows?

I'm pretty sure if people can film a half decent porno in prison with a guard. They can take a picture.

Is it common to get pictures of people locked up and awaiting trial? Seems like you’re looking for something to get offended at.

I'm not offended, I'm just asking the question.

Nobody else finds it strange he's being painted as a choir boy across the media? Regardless of anything else, he's an animal who targeted and killed innocent kids yet the media are painting him as an innocent child who is in the choir.

Just need somebody to post some pictures of Tommy Robinson as a kid playing nicely to see people's real views.

Think you're reading too much in to it.
I don't think anyone's trying to paint him as a choir boy and they'd be wasting their time if they did.

Think it's just whatever photos they can get their hands on.
I'm sure they'll be photos of him inside emerging soon enough.

Oh no the media are literally labelling him as choir boy. There's no trying to paint that picture about it, they are pushing the autistic, church going choir boy as headlines and descriptions.

Be interesting to know if he went straight from choir practice to his rampage. Maybe he helped an old woman across the road when he was 13 that they can use.

I think it’s powerful to show how normal he was and that something happened to mean he did possibly the worst thing a human could do

Unsure on the reasoning that they’re illegal, but I think Boris brought them in as London Mayor i.e. not in an office to implement proper legislation.

Ive not read the media mate. But you see this a lot, see the reporting or almost any monster especially domestic violence. “His neighbours say he was a quiet man who always tipped the paper boy”. It’s a normal journalist thing to go “ooohhh it could be anyone even nice Mr Jones next door”.

If that in any other country if you weren't shot dead you'd be facing 20 years in jail.

My take on it: You don't want to get injured by being hit by the full force of the water cannon? GO HOME!

Is it? I think it's misleading.

He clearly wasn't normal.

Maybe we can talk about other mass murderers being in the scouts?

I know it shouldn't but that made me chuckle 😂.
On balance I think a few things the press are currently mentioning are pretty pointless..... I'm sure the parents of the murdered and injured children will find little comfort in knowing the murderer was once a choir boy.
