The trust would be the same as SISU trying to break even.
However they would have a clean slate with potential key partners.
Also their decision making would be so key driven by CCFC not an overriding seperate business.
That still doesn't answer anything.
Doors would open to where?
It is the same with NOPM, nobody can actually say how and why it will work but you are defending other people by asking.
but surely the focus would be on driving the club forward rather than whatever it is that's going on now.So it wouldn't be too much different then? Just different owners and a long term agreement at the Ricoh?
The decision making would still be restricted by the money.

Under the trust yes it would be restricted by finances. The same as it currently under SISU. However it would be better because they could do deals with key partners yes.
The only way we will progress is if we have an owner who is prepared to lose money.
The fan ownership will be that desperate to stay at the Ricoh no matter what, that wasps will have a field day. Before you know it we'll be back on the old £1.2m pa rent deal with no access to revenues for 249 years.Under the trust yes it would be restricted by finances. The same as it currently under SISU. dealing with the cartel would be the next big challenge after getting rid of sisu. The fan ownership will be that desperate to stay at the Ricoh no matter what, that wasps will have a field day. Before you know it we'll be back on the old £1.2m pa rent deal with no access to revenues for 249 years.

I am not doing NOMP.
Yet I have given you an explanation of how and why it would work.
I lisened to the phone in and yes the people do realise we are in league 1.How is it deflecting from it? The trust are banging on about takeovers with the press, would they not have to run us self sufficient too, or would that be ok?
I have said many times why I don't think it is that bad, unless we all want SISU to put more money in and increase the debt? People demanding them to invest money and them out at the same time, how does that work?
People just need to actually see we are in League 1, we aren't in the Premier League and we don't have any god given right to be anywhere near it at the minute. You only had to hear some on the phone in that they don't seem to grasp we are a league 1 club.
No doubt your answer will be "Well why are we a league 1 club?", and the answer to that is to look at the revenues in the Championship.
If you have an issue with self sufficient, why not start protesting for everybody to fill the ground to pay more players wages?
Then what happens when there are people ringing up the phone in demanding to know why we have loans and why we aren't buying x and y and why there is no investment?
Why do you think Wasps would want to take us to the cleaners they are in business to make money to progress they would in my opinion want to keep us going paying into the pot .We could not be worse tenant to deal with than SUSI .

The problem is others like yourself who believe we should be getting 15000 every week in league 1
We have never been a massively supported club in my time supporting them.
So why should we all of a sudden expect crowds big enough to keep us going?
What are the owners going to do to bring back all those lost souls that can't be bothered anymore.
That is what you should be asking.
So what's your answer then?I'm not expecting 15k, I'm also not expecting loads of money to be pumped in.
Some of the callers I heard didn't seem to realise.
The lower the crowd, the more cuts or players get sold. It's been said for months.
I was being flippant, but I have no confidence that a fan owned club would get a better deal, they would be viewed as inexperienced negotiators and wasps would exploitment just as much as they're exploiting the club now.I am not so sure.
A fans ran club approaching Wasps for a long term Ricoh deal.
You think it would be 1.2 million a year for 250 years?

I don't share the view that a fan owned club will get preferential treatment, cheaper deals and more access to revenues and everything will be hunky dory.

Just tuned in and heard Pete in the car, fuck sake.
I must catch the bad ones
Can somebody paraphrase the rest while I can't listen?
No shit I forgot only you realise that all the rest are stupid.I'm not expecting 15k, I'm also not expecting loads of money to be pumped in.

That was a very good question, he asked MV to explain the owners business model which was explained as self sustainability and then the questioner expressed his own belief that self sustainability in inappropriate for a football club. You don't have to agree with his view but the question was very well worth asking.
Pete in Radford around 41mins was what I heard. No, he was the one who didn't know his question and then said about loans.

That is no different to anyone else running the club but getting money in from the likes of season tickets would become easier as people would see the money going into OUR club.
The club do get revenue from the shop, they get commission on what is sold without the liability of having to fund running costs. A Ricoh unit costs around £65-70k pa rent, then you'll have another £60-65k staffing costs, utilities (£2k?), then cost of purchasing initial stock (£20k?), ongoing stock (?), etc, to cover before you start to make usable profit. If by any chance the club was taken over by the fans the first thing to do would be to bring to shop back into club ownership then you know that any purchase you make would go toward helping the club SUSI talk about revenue streams and yet they let that one go. What I'm saying about season tickets Nick is as a fan I'd sooner see the money going into something run by ourselves than some faceless group of people
Then what happens when there are people ringing up the phone in demanding to know why we have loans and why we aren't buying x and y and why there is no investment?
So how do they get any commission then do the operators not have any of those costs? The club do get revenue from the shop, they get commission on what is sold without the liability of having to fund running costs.
