Errmm, not sure.

We think so, our neighbour not so.
What did they do there?

(Actually I have one who did the other side, just slightly nervous this'll cost... a lot. So might try and do it myself, undoubtedly with hilarious results!)

Fence blew down on Thursday after Storm Doris. Our neighbours were away til Saturday night.

We decided to get it done and pay for the whole thing, £750. Very generous of us I would have thought. Asked for no contribution from the neighbour's.

Anyway the fencers came out straight away on Friday and got on with the work and we texted our neighbour's all the way on what was going on.

We thought it was a good job (hadn't quite finished and we're coming back Sunday), but then neighbour's came back Saturday night and knocked on our door and asked when the fencer was coming back.

Very polite and friendly. They are devout Christians and always so smiley and happy and kind.

Anyway, fencer came back on Sunday and the neighbour (the wife, not the husband) came out and gave them all kinds of hell. Shouting, screaming, arguing over about 5mm of territory, told them they were trespassing and they had done a botched job and that they had used her metered water and that she couldn't use the garden for a week because of the mud and that some of her gravel was missing (with the digging some got swallowed up) and going absolutely mental because her gooseberry bush was missing.

It was a total onslaught, both barrels and so much more.

Now we are not so sure it is a good job, but it does like fine to us.

Do you want their number? (not the neighbour's).

Think I'll stick with the one who did the other side (although they might be the same people I guess :D)

Dread to imagine how much mine'd be if I had to do all of it. Might have to sell the Lexus to Rich ;)

We had that with our neighbours, paid 1700 for a fence. They moaned about millimetres, just told them to pipe down or pay half.

Kept coming out to stop them from working, told the bloke to invoice them for the time. They couldn't speak English so kept going mad at the fencer in polish.

They soon stopped coming out
