Spotify/music download sites (1 Viewer)

I need to download songs to my device(s) and wasn't sure on what is the best way to do it.

I have been using Amazon Music, which is fine, but not everything I want is on there, so was looking at Spotify maybe, but if I was to get Premium, can I then download songs to anywhere, or are they only downloaded to play on Spotify only?

Any other sites (legit) that anyone can recommend?

There are a lot of tracks.I wish to download that aren't on Amazon Music (smaller, lesser-known artists)

I believe that you can only "download" songs on Spotify to enable you to play them without a connection to the Internet. But they still can only be played through their app.

I use peer to peer service, like a file sharing site if I want to download songs, which works really well. I can pm you the link if I can work out how to do it if you'd like.

Spotify only works with the app, I think they've got a proprietary file type, but you can download stuff a device for offline playback

You used to be able to get an app to download from Spotify.
