If Spurs are seriously interested in Maddison I don't think they need to they need to dangle any bait to get him. When asked while interviewed by Clive Eakin yesterday what positions was looking at regards bringing new players in he said ALL positions and he is using his contacts to try and do things. This is now down to Waggott and what support he and our owner lends him.
So he is not the proven experienced player we would all like. But we need a few new faces and some fresh impetus to try and turn things around.
Let's not argue about the position he plays in? Let's be honest no one in our current team has nailed down their position, everyone is either sub standard or at least under performing.
He may as well have an couple games to prove himself, because some have had all season to endorse their mediocracy.
