Someone should tell the club this. They’ve probably not considered any of this when setting ticket prices.Nobody was saying £20. And at what point does this cease to make sense? 10K at £100 would generate more, would that be job done, or do you agree there is a balance to be struck that prioritises revenue but which doesn't alienate and discourage uptake? This especially applies to children, and that's where the issue is more than anything.
We charge kids more than any other club in the league. We only have 6K tickets to sell for league games, but if we sell those 6000 tickets more than 4 or 5 times all season I'd be surprised. Would it not be better to fill those seats more often with the future generation even if it meant a slight reduction in revenue in the short term?
Didn’t know you worked with himNo they don't.
If they work somewhere with paid overtimeRemember those times we'll worked behind the bar in the early 80s.
I was 18 and it was my second job.
They all moan at work that they are skint but won't do the overtime........
Or more worker's?If they work somewhere with paid overtime
My parents worked and met at the Styvechale Arms in the early 80s. Legend has it that the pub ran out of beer one day, I assume as a young @clint van damme drank the place cleanOr more worker's?

But it's not the kids of today is it?
It's the parents of today.
Kids wouldn't give a fuck if they had to walk to school, as they wouldn't know any different.
Whatever you think about the kids of today, they are a product of us, the parents.

I lived behind the Styvechale arms in Daleway Road - witnessed a Blazing saddles fight night in there one night - hilarious - chairs tables the lot all getting broken in the lounge bar then the keystone cops arrived and we slipped out and over the road - early 80sMy parents worked and met at the Styvechale Arms in the early 80s. I don’t buy this “future generations” stuff. We charge more than any other club you say, and yet we have record season ticket sales and bigger crowds than we’ve had for decades. It doesn’t stack up.
like I said- 26k at £37 and apparently there will be 26k there, whatever your views on King it looks like he knew what he was doing.
Same as king then, pretty disgusting attitude if you me saying, they'd prefer it if we all thirty something's or even younger with no children,no house to pay for, but we ain't and never will be!I don’t buy this “future generations” stuff. It was never going to sell out, it’s just not that attractive.I'm talking about match day prices clearly, which are the highest in the division (for kids), which I guess has fueled ST sales which are priced very reasonably, so maybe there is method there..
Besides, a lot of of the hand ringing was about not selling out. Point was made that at those prices it was unlikely to, and it hasn't. That was where the discussion about pricing came up.
Whether the approach they take to these things is actually better for the club, well that's a different debate and I'm not saying you are wrong on that because it is a difficult balancing act
Yhe stadium owner's won't be pleased then!It was never going to sell out, it’s just not that attractive.
I’d love for us to not need the money and let everyone in for a fiver, but that’s not the age we live in unfortunately.
11pm Fri and Sat I seem to recallTo Put it into perspective, The Opening Hours were.
11am - 2.30 pm and 6pm/ 10.30pm Weekdays.
12-2pm and 7-10 pm on Sunday's.

Feels quite likely to meI wonder if the hospitality sections will be well populated by Spurs fans.
Oh god they'll be hoying something or other!Feels quite likely to me

Strange if it is because I remember someone on here a few month ago claiming that Leeds fans were the only away fans ever that we let into corporate
1 Leicester fan in a box.Only have to have witnessed the Leicester home match last season to know that's not true.

You still need a membership number to buy tickets in corporate. The only exception is the boxes.I wonder if the hospitality sections will be well populated by Spurs fans.
