how anyone on here thought we’d sell out with those prices is beyond me

looking back it’s all the know it all who thought we would

instead of the sbt echo chamber you clearly don’t understand how cov fans work

doug king fucked up here and we knew the prices would back fire

Is the South Stand closed to home fans or we limiting Spurs to 2/3k?

Either way, be shocked if this isn't a sell out as a Super League big club is in town.

Missed the deadline for purchasing my ST seat as a ‘reserved seat’ but it’s still free and trying to purchase it now, but it’s charging me full price adult.

That isn’t right is it? I’m still a ST holder buying my ST seat? Or have I missed something?

How did Doug fuck up? He's in it to make money. A full house charging £10 is half of what he'll get even if only 15K turn up.

Very surprised indeed to see so many season ticket holders not taking their seats.
Despite having STs now, we felt this was a must go to game. We paid for expensive match tickets for the last couple of years so got a bit used to that. Having not actually bought those tickets since early June it felt like we hadn’t paid for ages.

:ROFLMAO: wow. I was sure we would sell out, no chance looking at whats available!

Annoying too as I had a couple of people who wanted to come with but no way of buying tickets.

And they charged non ST prices if you wanted to use your ST to buy a different age bracket. Things like that really bug me.

I hope the attendance is terrible.
I agree with you that it was priced £10 too high but surely vs Spurs with a history creating night on the cards it's still a possibility we will sell out!!

Charlie Bucket didn't have this much trouble getting a ticket.

A lot of negative reaction seeing as still a week to go.....

If it's like this this time next week i'd understand!
yeah, as there is likely a very large interest in this game from people who may only want to watch the game as it is Spurs surely the true indicators will be after this weekend

That's correct. £37 was only held until 10am this morning.

way too early to know if the tickets will sell in big numbers or not. any season tickets going with casual friends/fam would have had to wait until today at the earliest to get seats together and likely later in the week when the points drop off. most will probably chat about it over the weekend and decide to go. a win and decent performance against watford would shift a load more on sunday/monday.

imo if the crowd is 28k plus then it was likely priced about right.
23-27k could be argued either way.
but say if they only do 22k or less they likely got it wrong. there are plenty more that would go if it were a bit cheaper.

whilst it is a bigger match for us, i think tottenham will weaken their team a lot, especially with their North London derby 3 days before. they would proabably only go all out against us if they get hammered by arsenal and want a quick response, but otherwise i expect a weaker tottenham with the bigger players like son, maddison unused subs on the bench. with that in mind i worked out to bring my family would be over £150 plus petrol so counted us out of it.

in all likelyhood under £100 and we would be going

I think most STHs would commit before 10am this morning to pay £30 rather than £37 though?

we haven’t even sold 10k looking at the plan

look at the bigger picture. fans have voted with their feet
Not disagreeing about the fans but he's not fucked up he's made about a 1/4 mil more by pricing it this way already.

How's he made quarter a million more? That would imply £25 more per ticket so unless people were proposing £5 a ticket.....?

(not to mention we only get 45% of the sales).

I think £25/£15 was about right rather than £37 (£30)/ (£25/£20) so average £5 per sale cheaper....i.e. £50k less with same sales.

Well I suppose the positive is doug will reconsider pricing in future cup games

Yes he will there is little point in discounting season tickets next time

my point was that if those ST were bringing friends/family without ST's they would have to wait until general sale to all sit together and pay the £37

wasn't it that you had to use your ST seat to get the discount?

Christ those sales are bad 😂

Looks like about a third of season ticket holders have taken up the option on their seats…
