I'm at a total loss as to why were so bad at the moment so had a look through the squad and rated how they've been so far

Wilson - Good
Collins - How can you judge the invisible man?

Milan - Clearly got talent but plays with the handbrake on
Thomas - Calamity Bobby
Fadz - Our only real leader but not exactly been outstanding
Binks - Decent but not ours
Kitching - 4 million for a benchwarmer
Latibeuadiere - Solid player
DaSilva - Meh
Bidwell - Feel sorry for him

Eccles - Shit
Sheaf - Doing it all on his own poor bloke
Allen - Needs to stay fit, makes a difference for us
Kelly - Would start him over Eccles any day
Ayari - Shit
Palmer - All fart no poo and Weetabix legs
Tats - One of the few shining lights in this side
O'Hare - we all love him, hopefully he saves us

Simms - First touch is horrendous, second is a tackle. Runs in slow motion when he does actually move, little wimp
Wright - As above but even more of a pussy, weve been done with both of them
Godden - Imagine where we would be without his early season goals, but he's contributing fuck all at the moment

Is this too harsh?

Can't say that I'd disagree with the majority of that.

Completely agree with MVE being Mr. Handbrake, the amount of times I saw him run down the wing and then cut back on the halfway line, did a little shimmy as if to go past the player and instead passed back to a defender. Some of our playing is quite comical at times 😂

Harsh on Eccles, but the rest is pretty nailed on

Kitching is an odd one, by the end of the season i expect him to be starting, not sure whats happening in the meantime!

DaSilva i like, nothing overly fancy but a decent performer, a bit like Bidwell tbf but more for the future

Cant find much else i disagree with!

Too harsh on Eccles, who I don't think is shit at all.

Don't agree with a lot of that to be honest.

There's a big difference to playing shit at the moment, to they are shit. And I honestly think many will come good.

So while we are witnessing duff performances right now, I don't think these are bad players. I really don't.

Eccles is decent enough but would be a better understudy for Sheaf, rather than play alongside. On saying that, apart from set pieces he hasn't done much wrong.
We looked far better with Allen in the side. He provides the energy and link up play we are lacking.
With regards Palmer, we have looked more threatening in the team with him playing. At least he is willing to take people on and is strong enough to do so effectively. I would like to see him as the 10 behind one striker.
I have been impressed with Latibeudiere, though thought he looked edgy last night.
Da Silva is very limited and Van Ewijk lacks any variety - very predictable.
Sakamota looks exciting but probably too much so for our new ponderous style of play.
Robins says we have very good players but need time. I don't see anything to suggest that Simms and Wright are very good players. If they were making the wrong runs fair enough, but you don't need time to know how to control a ball or to win a header, etc.

Wilson - Good shot stopping. Distribution still needs work. But clearly passionate and that puts him in the top three alone.
Collins - Did we owe Barnsley a bunch of money or something? Proper bizarre signing.
Moore - Must be wondering where it all went wrong

Fadz - Creaking. At times still a rock but showing his age and his much vaunted organisational and motivational skills seem to be going with it. Though I suspect even a kilo of adderall and a case of redbull couldn’t motivate some of the new signings.
Lats - Gets it. Passionate. Decent defender and slots in all over. Useful player, good dressing room signing.
Thomas - Bambi on ice, gives the ball away constantly. Scares the crap out of me.
Binks - Seems like an arsehole but decent defender. Needs to watch his arseholery as I could see it backfiring.
Kitching - Apparently we signed him. May have been a fever dream. Clearly we are being used by some celestial Football Manager player to bump up the funds on their Barnsley save.

MvE - Stop start season. I think once he gets going again he’ll be good. You can see he’s got talent and has played at a higher level than others.
Dasilva - Until last night looked really solid. Had an absolute shocker. Don’t get the stick TBH
Bidwell- Looked poor and uninterested when he’s come on. Think he’s already out the door.
Saka - Like him, not perfect but can be a threat, energetic, get a foot in, and pass and move, which puts him ahead of most of our squad.

Sheaf - God we missed him. The Big One right now.
Eccles - Playing a role he isn’t suited for more than anyone would expect. Again not perfect but loves the club which counts right now and not terrible. Just not the player we need, but that’s not his fault.
Kelly - Made of glass. Not good enough when he’s not other than as another Eccles/Sheaf type. Not what we need.
Allen - Says a lot that IMO he’s gone from “just runs about” to “dynamic” because everyone else doesn’t even run about. We looked a lot better with him at AM than any other options so far.
Palmer - Love the guy and so talented, but another made of glass. Has suffered like all AMs with not having support from CM.
Ayari - Clearly got talent but looks like a kid in a man’s game and has a worrying tendency to hide. Another pussy.

Simms - Looks completely devoid of confidence, will do something that looks good, then will fuck up something that looks simple. Has the best shot in the team I reckon though. Needs a run without Godden stood on his toes whining every time he shoots.
Wright - BTEC Bakayoko. Massive pussy. Doesn’t look arsed. All the things I was worried about when we signed him are true.
Godden - Scored some vital goals, but comes across as a right prick both to fans and teammates this season. So now the goals have dried up he just looks miles out of his depth. I’m sure he’ll get a couplenof tap ins and a pen and we’ll all be creaming his MPG again, but really we need to move past him as a team.

Wilson - a couple of weaker performances but generally good and at times outstanding.

Wing backs - the only area where we have improved

Van Ewijk- looks by far our most talented player but I don't think he has fully got up to speed yet probably due to the injury and fitness. Will play at a higher level.

Da Silva - good on the whole and definitely an upgrade.

Bidwell - a good player but has been poor in his short cameos.

Sakamoto - not yet up to speed but clearly has something. If we improve generally I think he will too. If not and we start to struggle I think he will find it difficult.

Defence - some positives but some worries

McFadzean - showing worrying signs of decline but wouldn't be surprised if he proves me wrong again.

Latibeaudiere - generally good. Can only assume Thomas has been preferred at times because of fatigue after international matches.

Thomas - has all the attributes but not yet up to the Championship level.

Binks - good but can't help feeling he will get sent off at some stage.

Kitching - difficult to judge but looked good in his one start.

Midfield - generally sound

Sheaf - generally good but looking frustrated by what is in front of him. Taken to just shooting because he has no faith in the forwards.

Eccles - very unfairly maligned. Doing his job well and has been one of our best players. Covers for defensive frailties especially Thomas and rarely loses the ball. Getting flak for things that are not really his responsibility.

Kelly - see Eccles. Best player in some of the matches he played.

No 10 - terrible

Palmer - he does have talent and can be entertaining but this season he constantly tried to do the spectacular rather than the effective

Ayari - nowhere near ready. Might become a good player but not for us.

Allen - a vast improvement when he has played which unfortunately hasn't been enough.

Strikers - poor

Godden - started well but now ineffective.

Simms - started poorly needed time out and to earn his place as Gyokeres did but sadly has stayed in to his detriment.

Wright - has only produced in briefs moments and like Simms ideally would have had to work to earn his place but nonetheless has featured in every game.

Think some have been too harsh on Simms.
Touch wasn't great at times last night, but was our best striker (not saying much) and seemed more involved once Godden went off and the ball was at his feet with more space. Made the right runs too between their defenders as well when we tried through balls.
If we move to one up front, he'll probably be the most suited to that role

Simms could have had a couple of goals but the keeper saved well - he’s clearly better than Wright at the moment

Eccles, is a good honest squad player. Don't understand why he gets singled out so much, he's not picking himself and he must be doing what he's asked to do to keep his place.

wouldn't be in my starting line-up but he definitely doesn't deserve to be called out as often as he is.

Eccles isn't Hamer and I think some people are expecting him to step up and perform to the same levels as Gus.For me Eccles lacks athleticism and is after about 65 minutes he's Fucked. The amount of times his man strolls past him in games is ridiculous. The team in general are very unfit which is down to management. Why keep allowing him to take corners when he couldn't cross his own fingers is beyond everyone watching apart from the management team.Monday the team needs changes and a rocket up there arse because there isn't an easy game in this league as proven last night against a side that will go down.

Bit harsh overall.

We have a lot of players either playing nowhere near the level they have previously proved they can, such as Simms and MVE.

Some who have potential but are going to be hit and miss as they’re still learning such as Thomas and Binks.

Some who currently look like they’re offering nothing and miles off, but it’s not time to give up, such as Wright.

And others who have bags of ability but just can’t be relied upon this season due to injuries/fitness/inexperience like Allen, Palmer, Ayari.

And finally the random signings like Kitching and Sakamoto, one of whom can’t get near the team and the other should be near the team but isn’t fancied.

Harsh on Eccles who at least doesn’t hide and shows some passion, he’s also put in some decent performances. Anyone’s who played CM also knows your performance is massively impacted by those around; if you have nobody offering or making runs it’s going to be tough. And we’ve played all season without a decent 10 or on form strikers.

Squad rating for togetherness and team sprint is definitely shit - and that needs to be rectified.
