We've got some assets, finally. Our top players need securing on good contracts and then we can really carry on our improvement as a club. Hamer, Gyo, Dabo and O'hare equate to about 12 million roughly?! Fantastic progression we've witnessed in such a short space of time. The good old days are back, finally! Just out of curiosity, what did the poster who tracked the real cost of SISU’s investment (OSB 58 was it?) calculate the figure to be? Not the figure which included paying GR back and huge management charges and interest; the real cash injected figure less cash taken out.

Was it 18m?

In anycase, is our squad value plus any other assets (Ryton?) about the same figure?

I think we could get 3m combined for Moore, Sheaf, Hyam, 10m combined for Hamer, Gyorkeres, Dabo, 5m for just O’Hare (Feel free to swap figures here and there but I think the point overall is that our squad has a decent value now).

However the debt has been hyped or dressed or tax losses parked, I think we may have now reached the point where SISU see CCFC as an asset on their portfolio rather than a great big black hole.

I think MR wants to build a dynasty here, take us from rock bottom to the premier league, building a club from the ground up with a sound footballing academy and a decent infrastructure.
If he just wanted the money I'm sure he'd find suitors with money to throw at him.

Some managers suit certain clubs and set ups.

Robins bombed at Huddersfield and didn’t set the world on fire at Scunthorpe.

He’s maybe older and wiser, maybe it’s the set up.

My personal opinion is that Adi V needs signing up to a good deal. Can’t help but think that he is far more pivotal than he gets credit. If a L1 club came sniffing then we’d find him difficult to replace.

Robins is a great manager, he deserves a decent contract, but don’t overlook Viveash - he’s equally important.

I suspect our finances are still pretty Rocky so very unlikely. Walker unless he breaks into the team I would guess would go to fund any January activity

As things are going Simon Moore (although not in the young player bracket) has joined those that will have clubs taking a closer look. He has everything you want in a keeper. On current form he must be the best in the Championship.

Bullshit Robert. I was praising how far we had progressed and pointed at the fact we finally have players that are assets to the club. Look at yourself before you start gobbling off at others.
