All we can do as fans is get up to some games and support the team. Yes it’s more inconvenient but just get up there when you can. Anything is better than nothing.

The only other thing we could do (but we’d need a decent supporters club or somebody to take it on...) is get organised and put some pressure on wasps and the council. Protests probably won’t achieve a lot unless they’re very disruptive which risks fans getting themselves into trouble. One thing that needs to happen is to change the narrative a bit and show that for all SISU have done wrong wasps and the council have been at least as bad.

Few ideas;
Supporters groups need to educate people and get some more info out.
Local journalists need to be out under pressure to get things out and not just be the councils lapdogs.
Local councillors and MPs need to be pressured to raise this again in parliament.
Local business written to and asked to end sponsorship deals with wasps.
Adverts taken out in local media and social media to apply pressure.

I wonder if anew club now night be formed. Cov United always said they didn't see themselves as a phoenix club.

Just very concerned that some bright spark might now start a new CCFC AFC.

I have always said if the City went bust I would consider following a new club, but not while Coventry City FC still exist.

I sincerely hope it doesn't happen, but have a feeling it might.

I fucking hate football. On field signs were so positive and now this.

However, I’m dreading the onslaught of idiotic fans who will continually blame one party without looking elsewhere.

However much anger every one of us is feeling, as a fan base we need to do something to show that towards Wasps and CCC.

I f***ing hate SISU, b**t***s, we are Coventry not bloody Birmingham B, well that is me completely out of any games at all next season. Once was a disaster, twice is totally unforgivable. SISU thanks for leaving such a stain on our club, now just f off !!

Just a one year deal at St. Andrews.

That just causes more uncertainty.

If it is true that Wasps want any costs covered, we aren't returning to the Ricoh anytime soon and therefore we need to be covering ourselves for at least the next three years.

What a pile of crap all round.

Sisu should have dropped the legal action, but the council should have protected and helped the club and Wasps shouldn't have been such total twats.
Could it be that the EC may say 'we haven't seen any evidence of wrongdoing' within the next 12 months, in which case (assuming SISU don't appeal to the Lord God above) then there would be no grounds for not reigniting a deal?

The council and Wasps really do need to hang their heads in shame, especially the former who are supposed to represent the City.

Coventry fans or not, I don’t think you’ll find many Coventrians who would want the local football team moved away from the City. The key is ensuring those people know the real reasons, yes SISU were shit, but there’s so so much more to it.

Any talks of a Phoenix club can absolutely fuck off too.

To be fair it’s been said before, and it’s no real comfort in the scheme of things, but you can do a fantastic ale trail round Birmingham.

Also, if anybody drafts a good letter for any of the suggestions above get it shared somewhere so people here can use the template.

Is there a site you can set up pledge signatures. A pledge to boycott Wasps and all associated businesses until the football club is back at the Ricoh.

We should organise a boycott of any business who sponsors or invests in wasps.
Another one for the Trust to push. Get a list of sponsors and contact details and encourage everyone, respectfully, to let them know they will no longer get business from our fans.
Casino won't be happy. Big loss of income.
Same with this, Trust should line up business after business that loses out from this to release statements condemning Wasps and talking about the negative impact on the local economy.

Shouldn't the Council imdenify Wasps, given they are potentially the ones that undersold the Ground?

The club have merely pointed out that a law has potentially been broken haven't they?
That would be state aid again thought wouldn't it?

Forget the trust. They won’t do shit as per. We have to do it.

Yeah similar to some of the suggestions I made above. Needs it own thread as we either need an organisation which will take this on or need to form one.

Why are Wasps insisted on indemnity then you apologist prick?

Erm, the post that the PSB group have put up - this is about SISU trying to bust wasps like they tried with acl. They can’t deliver on it because it’s against what they are trying to do.

Anyway enjoy going to bordesley green..... I could call you a prick too but I won’t lower myself....
