We were top 6 in the championship at the time the leeds game was played - 28,000 fans wwhen there was a slight sniff of sucess
Didn't the Telegraph also promote the shit out of that game? I am sure it was on the front page and they were encouraging everybody to go.
I'm not surprised. Used Warwick a number of times for conferences and meetings. Always excellent, great food. Stayed over as well. The uni would be profitable as the beer ain't cheap.A link up with Warwick Uni would be good. Their business expertise valuable. They are superb at conferencing, also their students union is one of the most profitable in the country and always has been.
6500 of which were visitors tbf. We were 4th at the time I think. We were top 6 in the championship at the time the leeds game was played - 28,000 fans wwhen there was a slight sniff of sucess

Not quiet true. Yes they deal with Nuneaton and Bedworth but there would certainly be planning objections from ccc and possibly West Midlands and the whole project would find itself on the lap of Government for ratification, used to be John Prescott who okayed the Ricoh project, not sure who it is now. I am led to believe the old golf course at Hawkesbury is to be sold for housing anyway, a Blackhorse Road local told me that only the other day.The stadium will be in Bedworth or Exhall. That way they'll just have to deal with Nuneaton and Bedworth borough council, who i know for a fact would welcome CCFC with open arms!

EEE BAR GUM that's fucked it thenEric Pickles
We could build the stadium on Eric Pickles.
The spare other half of the space would be used for exhibition halls, shopping malls, restaurants, casino's, hotels and car parking.
Not about the pie money, it's about income and revenue streams the other 340 days each and every year.
Regarding the building being started that will happen if and when the land purchase and planning go's-through but before that happens you have to jump through an enormous number of hoops.
Highways, environmental, local roads and transport links etc. etc.. Unfortunately authorities tend to move at a snails pace!
