The intirety of the two lower tiers were open for sale.

If there are 30 rows of people in front of you standing then are you going to try to force the people in front of you to sit too?
Nope.

When I booked tickets it would not let me choose my seats. I could only choose category.

I know I will be sitting.

Anyone tries to stand in front of me will end up in hospital. ;)

That's your browser/device though. Seats were available to chose on the site I chose exactly where I wanted to be at 9am Monday morning.

What would you do if there are several rows of people stood in front of you?

Complain to Wembley and the construction company.

Yes, was my browser. Didn't give me a choice.

You haven't asked me yet why I will be sitting and why anyone in front of me would end up in hospital!! ;)

If I find your seat number I'm going to install a small barrier. Easy to see over while standing but videos of goals conceded this season on a loop while sitting down.

The problem with Wembley is paying for a ticket and not being able to see, which is what happens in the lower tier behind the goal when everyone stands up.

I think for me its a balance of respect and enjoying the game. Ideally I would stand the whole game but would see what the fans around me do.

The seating will be a major mixture of families and lads on the lash all day so I think Oxford got this right in terms of a 'singing' corner as this would have put everyone wanting to stand in one place thus eliminating this debate. All I would say is be respectful to the kids and families around you but equally people have to respect its a cup final and people will be passionate and that normally means standing up and shouting away!

Shouting? Oh dear, not sure I can stomach any of that.

Shouting AND standing?

I might just not go.
