Lets assume we do not sign anyone else, what would be your starting 11?
Could you imagineNo way that Mason-Clarke doesn't play. I think we might change to a 3-5-2 this season.
No chance we play that formation. No way that Mason-Clarke doesn't play. I think we might change to a 3-5-2 this season.
Torp has to start over Eccles imo, I see him having a massive influence this season. I would like us playing 3 in the middle, with Sheaf Torp and Mason Clark in the 10.
Why would that not happen ?That's not happening
Collins
MvE Thomas Binks Bidwell
Rudoni Sheaf Torp
Saka Simms Wright
S: Wilson, Lats, Dasilva, Kitching, Eccles, Allen, EMC, Rodriguez, Tavares.

I can't even explain how excited I am to see the MvE and Sakamoto linkup again. I think it's my favourite Cov partnership ever.
Mason Clark isn’t going to play in the 10I like this guy, was thinking exactly the same thing
...Humphries.Could you imagine
The old five
3-2-5
Hudson
Hales
Rees
Machin and
…
Willy humphries is our wizard on the wing...Humphries.
We will be using 4-3-3 based on the friendly so farView attachment 36903

Would love us to try 4-4-2 just to see what we can do with it, but I expect us to use 4-2-3-1 for most of the season with Sheaf and Eccles playing almost every game as the two CMs.
Oh good, I didn’t expect that but pleased to hear it, I think we played some of our best football as 4-3-3 last season. Also the best teams in the prem tend to play or have played a variation of 4-3-3. If Pep, Arteta, Klopp etc have all agreed it’s the best then we should be following suit imo.We will be using 4-3-3 based on the friendly so far
It's 4-3-3 without a 10 thoughOh good, I didn’t expect that but pleased to hear it, I think we played some of our best football as 4-3-3 last season. Yeah some sort of variation of 4-3-3 anyway, all the best teams in the prem play it or have recently played it (maybe with a bit of changing formations whilst defending), but either way the best teams play something along those lines. The more we move away from 3 (or 5) at the back the better. It's 4-3-3 without a 10 though
We won't play 3 at the back for the foreseeable future IMOYeah some sort of variation of 4-3-3 anyway, all the best teams in the prem play it or have recently played it, maybe with a bit of changing formations on defence but either way the best teams play something along those lines. No - sorry. I don't remember what happened last week usually!Willy humphries is our wizard on the wing
Do you remember the other words of the song?
No way that Mason-Clarke doesn't play. I think we might change to a 3-5-2 this season.
Huh? They play opposite wings. He needs to be seriously good to get in ahead of Sakamoto
Rodrigues looks like being Sakamotos back up . As for right back it opens up a huge opportunity for Burroughs , will be interesting to see how much of preseason he plays .Dovin
MVE Thomas Binks Bidwell
Sheaf Eccles Rudoni
Saka Simms Wright
Still think we will get another right sided player (someone who can cover MVE and Saka), a CM and an ST. Would mean a bench of:
Wilson/Collins
Lati
New RB/RW
Kitching
New CM
New ST
Torp
EMC
Rodriguez
This then leaves the below not even in the matchday 20
Palmer
Allen
Dasilva
Tavares
Burroughs
that’s fantastic depth
Rate this tbf4141 Saka Rudoni EMC Wright ahead of Sheaf. Simple.
EMC is not an 8 , he's not much of a 10 . He is a fast, tricky , direct winger/inside forward . With the players we have I hope he isn't played out of his natural positionRate this tbf
So he’s not an 8 or a 10 but he’s a winger/inside forward? Like what’s that then? I’m genuinely not having a go (I never like having personal arguments with people on here, just find it draining) but I don’t think we really know what his perfect/natural position is yet. I assume it’s somewhere on the left side of midfield, either wing/midfield/CAM, but I think it’s a bit early to tell. I just hope we “gently” experiment, winning games whilst learning what our new recruits are best at.EMC is not an 8 , he's not much of a 10 . He is a fast, tricky , direct winger/inside forward .
