........Shopping at Asda.

"I had been working on preparation with the group all week. Nothing had been left to chance. Conditions were absolutely perfect. The car park was spectacular. The presence of so many there made it an exciting atmosphere, one that I expect at this level . I paid my £1 for a trolley and got in as quickly as I could. Make no mistake it was an impressive place. I opted for a weaving the aisles technique I'd been working on from on end to the other on an excellent surface, though in the last third my tempo dropped and for me that was the only thing disappointing. The shop assistants were terrific from the off. It was a high tempo environment and I absolutely thrived on it - make no mistake about it, I couldn't fault anyone there, and more than that , the young lad with an absolutely wonderful ring through his nose at the till was in terrific form.

The vegetables in particular went through the checkout superbly. Bagging up was a well drilled and disciplined procedure and I thought the longer it went on the more I was on top , controlling things tremendously well from the back. Everyone there made it work well and the whole group had contributed superbly. Make no mistake, this was a team effort showing quality, desire and discipline. It was a wonderful occasion, no doubt about it.

I like the analogy, good one.

Unfortunately, Waggott seems content shopping for our vegetables from Aldi.
