Yeah, same here. Four lanes down to one. Fucking nightmare.
Would have been ok and flowed fine if bellends who read the sign at 800 600 400 and 200 metres still don't try and push into the queue near the end. Some HGV's too who really should know better.

Not read the thread or seen if any ratings, but Rudoni in his cameo spell was the pick for me. Wanted to get on the ball all the time, showed drive going forward, good feet, good movement and a real strong work ethic in a friendly. If he continues like that will be some player.

Glimpses from EMC too although nearly tripped himself up with one piece of skill but him Left and Saka right cutting inside, outside will be a real handful for defences who try and sit back against us and if anyone opens up then we have pace and power to get in behind. Some real positives with a few preseason games stoll to sharpen up.

A pretty decent run out after a poor first 10-15 minutes. The back 4 couldn't make a pass in that first 15 minutes but steadily grew into the game. I don't think Burroughs was that bad after the first 15. Midfield worked hard and got on top. Up front Dausch was pretty quiet on the left, Tavares did well and scored a very good goal. Obikwu played really well. Won the penalty and scored it. For Tavares goal he won the ball in the right back position, sprinted up the wing outpacing their left back and put a great cross in for Tavares to score. Will be interesting to see where he ends up this season. On that performance he walks into the Stevenage team and probably a lot of other League 1 teams.

After 55-60 minutes we made the subs and you could see the difference in quality straight away. We have some real attacking power and will score a lot of goals this season. Great to see Milan and Tats linking up. Rudoni will be a fans favourite.

My main takeaways from last night (I was there).

Burroughs - Not a RB. Made some errors early on but settled down, always turning back when in possession.
Da Silva - Excellent.
Andrews - Thought he looked good. Quick, and got stuck in. Few misplaced passes, but there's a player there
Obikwu - 6'3, and quick, thought he was a real handful for them. Lovely run and drag back for Tavares goal.
Tavares - Lively

Looks to me like robins is very excited by obikwu . You could sense he’s half expecting him to keep growing in pre season and potentially challenging to be the back up to simms
I hope he does there’s nothing like a player coming through the youth teams to get the crowd involved
