Loss and a meltdown. Wouldn’t be a new season without it.
Was better second half.Could be down to WIFI.
My picture was okay.
We don't really have any leaders.I can’t really explain our performance, the pre-season games looked cohesive, players looked sharp and confident. Then we turn in a very similar performance to the QPR game.
There was a moment in the first half where Sakamoto was cleared out and prevented from chasing a ball over the top. That is apparently not a booking but Binks tussling with an opponent in the first few minutes is.Particularly after waving play on when they smashed us in a far worse foul 30 seconds earlier
We gave up very easily on that. Having an Alan Browne type in the middle would really have helped today. We don't really have any leaders.
But I'd have hoped for more reaction and fight when we went behind.
It’s not a meltdown but we were shite and created nothing against a very average sideCalled it
Fire stick spot on todayCould be down to WIFI.

Pretty annoyed these wankers have ruined my holiday already tbh. Fancy being one of the pre season favourites and losing to fucking Stoke. Fuming.Called it
No they didn’t. 8 shots first half 3 second. We had 2 first half and 5 secondThey were that poor they had more shots than us 2nd half too and scored .. we had a decent 20 all game , that's it
Your holiday isn’t in Stoke is it? Saw a ‘Tracksuit Tom’ helicopter just now.Pretty annoyed these wankers have ruined my holiday already tbh. Fancy being one of the pre season favourites and losing to fucking Stoke. Fuming.

Okay, so where do we start with that?
Have to say, Stoke have looked very decent. They have been stronger and their passing has been crisp and have shown good movement.
They are harrying us and winning the ball back almost every time we have it.
We have helped though. Lots of mistakes and EMC and Saka have been anonymous. Torp has hardly featured either
I would say that only MVE and Simms have looked decent. Little flashes here and there from Rudoni.
Unless we improve (confident we will), we will most certainly lose this game.
I would definitely be bringing Eccles on if it was me.
Hardly a meltdown, it was just a very poor performance, not helped by playing Allen and Torp together in midfield.Called it
Did you ever stop?Am I allowed to start wetting the bed now? 🫠
I do think Stoke will be decent this season so it’s not all doom and gloom.Undoubtedly.
Just such a poor start to the campaign
That’s how I described a lot of performances from last season. We moved the ball well side to side but without any real penetration.Large parts of that reminded me of England in the Euros but without Jude Bellingham to bail us out.
I know what you mean. Almost feels obligatory to give some a game. That being said Eccles for Torp and Wright for EMC was fine for me.My takeaway is that sometimes too many options can almost be a hindrance - especially if you’re a manager who has been starved of them for most of your career.
Much prefer depth vs no depth. But three subs at once is unusual in football unless you’re chasing
Should really have scored in the first minute if we’re being honest. Yet somehow Simms didn’t pull the trigger.I do think Stoke will be decent this season so it’s not all doom and gloom.
We just didn’t create anything of note and our squad isn’t as strong as some people were saying in preseason. Only missing one starter and off the bench, after the first 3 subs there wasn’t really any one else to bring on.

Sounded loud on my TV.How were the SBA today? Don't think anyone mentioned the crowd.

Ridiculous queue to get in though. On and off from both fans.
There was a moment after half time where it was rocking.
Stoke fans noisy for 5 minutes after their goal and then spent the remaining ten minutes taking the piss out of twist and shout.
It's so much better sitting in the corner at Stoke. At least you can hear stoke fans for 5 minutes as apposed to 0 minutes like the past 3 or 4 times we've visited.
Ridiculous queue to get in though.
Is it the same at every ground? Wasn’t like that at any of the grounds including Stoke last season.Same at every ground mate.
People need to accept that it will take 10 minutes to check bags etc.
Torp was non existent 2nd half. Allen, at least, tried... but Jamie should be nowhere near a starting 11.Rather than Allen?
