Don’t get the overreaction with Tavares. Saka needs a rest and who else do we have? Give him a chance.
Wilson though.. can’t say I’m pleased with that one.

Well we have Palmer or godden in the middle

Massive call for Tav to play ahead of Godden.

Other than that I wouldn't say anything too controversial apart from Wilson in for Collins.

Van Ewijk needs the rest and can't do much is Tats is ill

It’s a great chance for Tavares to play well and stake a claim, which he hasn’t hitherto for me. But not really had much of a chance. One great goal and a performance against Wrexham where, before he got injured, he looked out of his depth. Play well and it would like having a new signing to compete for places In the run to the end of the season. Come on Fabio. Cheering you on via CWR this afternoon

Not that bad tbh.

Wilson is a bigger worry than Taveres due to the position he plays.

I know he’s slated on here, and I appreciate he isn’t the answer, but really hoping Taveres shows something today.
I'd love it if he scored a hattrick, just to read the reactions on here and the constant harking back to it, even if he reverted to random bit-part player forever more!

Stokes team does look garbage tbf. Burger their best player only on bench and even aside from that it just looks bad.

Obviously have my concerns with Tavares but if he does something good, I won’t hide.

Not like those people who call Simms shit and go missing when he does well.

Robins rates Tavares enough to give him a new deal, but not enough to give him any minutes off the bench, but enough to give him a start.

FFS, forgot the team selection drama.

We had a rare child free afternoon (and evening!) and I was heading to - and had agreement (!) - the local micropub with an iPad to watch the game. Even more of a treat as I’m on a health kick so not drinking much at the minute.

However, babysitters dropped out just as we were leaving to drop the kids off. So instead we’re heading to the cinema to watch Migration and pay about £50 for fruits shoots and popcorn they won’t eat, with zero chance of me watching the game.
Got our Migration cinema trip out of the way - during half-term. Storyline similar to Chicken Run 2. Suggest you bring headphones and discreetly listen to the game.
