I've just looked and I can't see a single u23 that has made a first team appearance. (Assuming jpt doesn't count as it's their u23 team that appears).
So given that they then have 26/27 first team players beyond that. 5 out injured that we know. Is 8/9 positive cases really far fetched if they have all been at a party? Doesn't seem like it given the numbers being seen at other clubs that high also.
Some are on the squad list to get squad numbers aren't they?I've just looked and I can't see a single u23 that has made a first team appearance. (Assuming jpt doesn't count as it's their u23 team that appears).

Where does it say they need to have a single minute of first team experience? Brighton had to put a load of kids with no minutes on the bench last night
It's entirely self inflicted. As far as I'm concerned with their obscene overspending it just levels the playing field
I can't see where it mentions having a squad number means they count? I may be mistaken I have only read the ccfc article.
Just a reminder that being registered and having squad number are different, if that's your line of thinking
It says players with 1 appearance for the first team.
So what? Players shouldn't be able to enjoy the freedoms that the rest of the country have? Seems a rather ridiculous argument to me. Plus didn't somebody say the party was 2 weeks ago? So before Omicron was even really a massive deal the players should have been observing rules the rest of the country aren't?
Should they also cancel all family gatherings over Xmas?
First one I checked has placed 2 league cup games for them
It does also say anyone else otherwise available to play
Which doesn't count. It says league games.
You just said first team appearance? League cup games are first team games, it's not the u23 in the JPT
I'm just going on what you said.
You just said it didn't mention it at all a second ago? But I was wrong when appearances it specifies league games in the EFL text.
Nowhere did I say it should have been disallowed-just that the consequences of having a big party with no mitigations runs that risk and it's a voluntary one.
You said one first team appearance your own fucking words
Also " or any other contracted player not on the squad list but otherwise would have been eligible to play."
The have 14 players
so you don't edit it this is what you said and what i replied to

I don't need to change it. I'm not a child that can't admit they are wrong or change their opinion.
Seems you are though as I simply replied to the point you made and you threw your toys out the pram.
The game is off no point arguing over nothing chillSeems you are though as I simply replied to the point you made and you threw your toys out the pram.
Nope I simply just corrected to say that it needed to be a league game. No harm no foul there
The game is off no point arguing over nothing chill
Lads it's off , no point arguing as it won't change
Fuck sake, weekend of wanking it is then.
So no change?
Nice for them to be at full strength for the rescheduled fixture. Spineless from EFL
