Fuck sake, weekend of wanking it is then.
Yeah hopefully a quick re arrangement...but that wont happen. If a load of the Stoke players have caught it, some could be suffering for weeks - may still affect them adversely, plus some of their players are out for quite a while iirc (Sawyers, Powell for sure)
Hope you're streaming it so SBT can spend 4 pages discussing whether it's going to go ahead, another 8 predicting when it'll kick off, another 16 discussing tactics during the stream and then finally 32 pages moaning and arguing about whether the final motivation was a "dick move" or if the result was worth waiting for.....
Personally, I'll be out Christmas shopping
Don't think I could deal with the rating thread
Dont forget we got 3 players out Hamer , JCS and Waghorn and a half fit Gykores.
Point being?
Tbf only 10 day isolation. So they will be back available , but likely not great fitness wise. Can only be good for us!Cardiff have a large number of cases too
God knows if they will be able to field a side on Boxing Day
Stoke played QPR when they had 13 players out with COVID, but Rangers still forfilled the Fixture, they went complaining when the won there. Are we REALLY going to do the whole charade of "they're too scared/faking it" again? Didn't make sense when Rotherham did it last year and doesn't make sense now.

And as previously been said on here Stoke have 27 first team player and 7 u23s with squad numbers.
Fuckin shinanigans.

I have no doubt we would have beaten them this weekend and they weren't't favourites according too the bookies. We are 19th in the form table with a paper thin squad and injuries to key players - none of their U23 counts as players unless they have played a league game - they’d be favourites to win - this is all nonsense

I'll go and see Spiderman. Spend most of the film moaning about how shit it is and then cheer right at the end.Fuck sake, weekend of wanking it is then.

Think they had 14 with covid and 5 injuredStoke City - Detailed squad 24/25

They would need a fair few out.
You make things up mate. I didn't say that.So they have conspired to get the game abandoned as they are frightened of playing a team that’s averaged a point a game the last 12 - makes sense
Boring weekend coming up. Bloody hell, Stoke, you had one job! Plenty of time for the Cardiff game to go pop as well.
Think they had 14 with covid and 5 injured
It will be those with covid plus close contacts who also have to isolateThink they had 14 with covid and 5 injured
To be fair, no cases?I'm hoping Cov learn from this over the next few weeks and put in new precautions.
I know it sounds crazy at they'll be in a 'bubble' but distance inside, do team meetings over zoom or outside. All that stuff.
You don't have to isolate with close contacts do you?It will be those with covid plus close contacts who also have to isolate
If you haven't had 2 jabs yesYou don't have to isolate with close contacts do you?

I know medical information is private but I hope football regulators are assessing and verifying who has covid.
I understand Manchester United had 19 players out but many were in the u23s and u19 squads.
Cancellations (if this is not true already) should be based on a % being confirmed specifically to have covid from the first team squad and not 3rd choice goalkeepers etc.
United reporting the currently have 7 first players available which is fair enough

It is and a statistic I find hard to believe given the enormity of their first team squad.United reporting the currently have 7 first players available which is fair enough
I suspect there are a number of players with positive tests and a larger number of close contacts who haven't had two jabsIt is and a statistic I find hard to believe given the enormity of their first team squad.
