Nothing to report until he has a scan on Monday but I doubt he will be available any time soon!

He's tweeted to say he's having a scan Monday but hopes his season isn't over

Partly hoping the leg brace was precautionary but looked like he felt it immediately and I would guess that's his season over

Stil player of the season for me though!

It looked horrible when he went down. I normally follow the ball but 26 pints meant I was a little slow... I hope we see him this season but...

He's been a stalwart this season and will me missed if he's not in the squad.

26 pints???? Anything like the city fans I've seen today they struggle for a . Beer

I’m sure Cranfield wouldn’t consume to excess like that. He obviously missed out a decimal point, and actually had three very modest 500ml glasses, which equates to 2.6 pints.

Mowbray has said they'll look into recalling him should Stokes be out for a long period of time.

I have no idea how bad it is, but Stokes is a warrior, so he'll fight to be back sooner than we think hopefully.

Can we recall Ryan Haynes? If anything costs us promotion this season then it's injury's to key defenders
Yes, we can.

TM said so yesterday.

I would be more inclined to play Stephens at left back and move Ricketts to the centre. That will then allow Lorentzson to come in.

Stephens has played left back before.

We have options, Ricketts at left back, Stephens as said but Mowbray will have to re-call Haynes imo, bloody shame about Stokes who I fear has picked up a bad one, probably down to a disgraceful pitch looked to me his foot got stock in a glue pot of mud and sand. Brings back memories of young star Graham Oakey having his career finished on a similar pitch at Villa Park

For certain games I would consider 3 at back plus wing backs, we have to be real solid now at the back it's going to be a battle here on in

I think move Ricketts to left back and bring in Lorentzson on the right. Haynes as cover - 10 games left which are going to be a real scrap to the death and I don't think he has the defensive attributes we need at the moment.

Would rather play with 10 men than have Ramage in the side.

Hmm Tricky one I think would probably recall Haynes but if he is getting starts at Cambridge would be harsh as can only see him as bench option.

I think Stevens will move to left back probably and Ricketts will slot alongside Martin with Lorentzon recalled at right back.
If we do this and Haynes getting game time would leave him there. Hunt could be on bench and has played left back as well
if needed may be a better position for him now?

I would rather have ricketts there and leave Haynes at Cambridge.

Stokes has been great despite being written off as a crap signing by most. Just as most wanted to sack off Martin this time last season. Which suggests most fans know Jack shit about judging players ability and potential.

We are all allowed opinions of course.

But yes never really understood the slack Martin got on here. He has been steady and good for us. Him and Stephens could be our best hope in defence for the rest of the year.

Martin was poor last season, but has been excellent this.

I was all for getting rid of him last season, because to my mind he was offering nothing and was really error prone. This year he has looked a lot more solid.

Can only put it down to a new manager/player relationship. He has been transformed this campaign.

Long may it last.

The whole team was basically poor last season, three of them Fleck, Stokes and Martin have been our best this season.

Would disagree on Fleck, but the other two, most definitely!

Until a month or so ago Fleck was easily our POTS.

Oh no, not at all. Not in my opinion.

Fleck has been very, very inconsistent. Only two I think can be considered and that is Vincelot and Stokes, with Stokes the clear favourite.

Stokes is the stuff movies are made of.
Discovered in the lower leagues. Aided Coventry to promotion from league 1.
Went on to international duties.

He will of course have to come on in the 89th minute of the play off final and score. Or this is going straight to beta max

I missed what happened, was it down to the pitch? That area he was in was like a muck heap.

I would have said fleck too...aided by Vincelot. I think stokes has been consistently good and was a revelation when moved onto the middle of the back 4. Certainly in tha last month or two both fleck and Vincelot have seen a bigger dip in form than most.

Takes a while to get the results back I think. Would guess it will be scan today and we will know tomorrow or Wednesday.
