Stop being a depressed bunch of wankers (3 Viewers)

Reckon we should have a great big march, that would sort EVERYTHING out.

If you think the way to improve a team and push for promotion is to get rid of your top four players and replace them with a dubious combination of ageing journeymen, the no longer wanted and the usually injured, then fine. An unusual approach, but fine.

As a supporter who doesn't slag off City players will just like to see all those players getting praise throughout the season.

I doubt it thou their are quite a few on this site alone that will get on their backs and say shit player not up to it.

Funny how those that are liking this thread are the same ones that slag off Carl Baker and others that have left.:thinking about:

I for one can't really comment because I don't know most of the players we have brought but I do have faith in Presleys judgement.

Jesus Christ!!!

How come every time someone questions the quality of a signing or voices a opinion that actually questions what they bring to the team your being depressed or writing a player off. Let's be honest everyone of us that does or who has ever done it is more than happy to be proven wrong, I gave McQuoid stick when he signed and I'm still not sure about him but chuffed he's notched and so far he's not looking bad.

As far as our two signings go is it any wonder people are questioning how good they are both don't have records that inspire although at one time both were highly thought off as youngsters. I hope they come here and kick on and I really hope Hines kicks Webster out the team maybe Nouble will actually start showing some of that potential.

One other thing they are loans not signings are they?

Our problem is the same every year and that is the end of season turnover of players. There will be always 2 or 3 players who move on but we always have half a dozen+ So we have to replace them before the manager can add to the squad if allowed, doesn't have to spend oodles of money on fees either but adding a couple or so to a squad of 18 is far better than having to bed in 6,7 or 8.

this, but its not just every summer. we could lose 4 in january

with the Clarke, Arsenal and Wilson money, we should have one of the best teams in the league now.

hope I am wrong, but I just don't see it.

That money would have barely covered half of the substantial losses of last season, and yes, I know who is at fault for that. But let's not pretend we are suddenly cash rich.

Perhaps this season we might move into break even territory, who knows. The big question is whether or not SISU will take a gamble. They were prepared to pump in cash to bankroll the club last season when its turnover was practically zero, so why not throw a bit of money at it this season and have a right go at getting out of this division? Time will tell, but history tells us not to hold our breath.
