Stop the bickering... (3 Viewers)

All this talk of who is to blame, protests, moaning and groaning is doing absolutely nothing towards supporting the club.

If what John Clarke says is correct, that legal reasons prevented the club from communicating with the fans, then I accept that and will start afresh as from today. I DO expect the club to be more open though after Wednesday.

So, please can we be positive from now on ?

I have to agree, a protest won't solve anything.

Will just have to see what they say today and Wednesday...

Waiting with baited breath, Nick. As a retired busissman (sold my Company last year) I know that running a Company is not easy !

Agree with this if we ( the fans ) are constantly negative this could affect the match-day performance of the players if the fans are booing or creating a negative atmosphere around the Ricoh. We need to get behind the players and hope we can secure championship football for next season.

Only really been involved in a protest once ,after the Grimbsy match when there was a sit in in the west end & outside the entrance in King Richard street.
During the match there was great support for the team until things went tits up with Hedman wanting to be subbed & Strachan refusing.
Hopefully we'll get behind the team no-matter what happens.

I was never keen on the protest, I'm sure SISU are well aware that people aren't happy with the current situation at the club (something that would be obvious to anyone who can dress themselves to be honest) but I don't see how the protest would go. SISU out, but then what?

Far better to rally round, if only to secure Championship status for another year.

If you are positive and happy at the moment after this year (and the last 10 years actually ) you must be on some happy pills.
Fans are just reflecting reality... hardly surprising is it??????????!!

Yep the fans and their negativity are the problem and certainly not the procession of useless owners, managers and under performing players

Macca, what I am saying is that it is pointless dwelling on the past. Yesterday is History - it's gone. You are right, the past owners, managers, players are to blame, not the fans. HOWEVER, I am prepared (once again!) to forgive and forget and concentrate on the future. Should the promises made today and Wednesday not be kept, then I'll judge the new regime on that. However, I am prepared to get behind the club and team, just as I have been doing since 1952 !

Jesus... The fans are negative for a reason.

A board that don’t tell us a thing. We have no chairman, no manager. A team who has won 1 in 16 and we don’t have a penny.

I think that’s enough for fans to be restless. We had plenty of hope before the New Year but due to lack of funds, injures and suspensions couldn’t progress. Simple. Most loyal fans who have season tickets have had enough, well i for one have.

Please tell me what is there to be positive about? A shitty CET article. Why didn’t they say this Thursday that it was a legal requirement? Shit excuse in my eyes.

I must type more carefully - "BUSINESS!" - put it down to old age and stress from watching Sky Blues since 1952! BUSINESS, BUSINESS, BUSINESS !

You can't have a go at Coventry City fans for being a little cynical towards what board members say after the past ten years.

It'll take a lot more than a few smooth statements to get back any kind of trust.

I think the fans just want something to shout about, we've been down in the dumps since '87, not a sausage, not even a slight chance of something. I think someone on here posted what Leicester had done in that time. OK, they had not set the the world on fire, but play off final, promotions... we have done NOTHING, until that changes negativity will prevail. I want to go back the glory years of the 60's as kid it was wonderful been a City fan then....
