And he didn’t have a pre season with the squad and he was carrying an injury and he was out with that injury for two months.
And his mum died last summer which has probably deeply affected his mindset

He laid the ball off yesterday for Shipley’s goal, made another chance for him with a deft lay off in the first half. He won a fair amount in the air considering he was up against two giants. The only half chance I remember him having is the cross from Dabo which he flicks with the inside of his heel and which nearly produced an own goal. As well as his assist yesterday, he made Biamou’s chance against MK and had an assist of sorts for the own goal at BR. It would be good if he was more involved in games but he is having a significant impact.

Firmino has 7 in 21 Premier league games for Liverpool this season but continues to play because he's an important cog in the wheel... That's how football works

Agree with OP, the bench looks strong currently. There are still three players I worry if unavailable:
1. Kelly - Poor runs seem to coincide with losing his calm maturity.
2. Marosi - Could be unfair on Wilson, but seems a step down from the one game I saw him.
3. Godden - I think Hiwula is the nearest like for like, runs in behind, but does not have the same movement and confidence seems hit this season.

Keep these three fit with Jones to come back in, it's a very strong squad.
