Age doesn't matter and loans don't matter. Numbers in and points on the table is all that matters. Let's have it.

I hope the wide* player can fit into Sicky-wicky-twix-fields!!! LOL! Just a bit of banter, guys!!!

(*I'm suggesting the player's got a wide body, rather than being a winger!)

Sorry Guys I think our signings policy Is in tatters and Incoherence has ruled the day .This was not the route that SP has been talking about and does'nt match the Pressley view from the Big CT Interview back in mid November .

If we're going down the youth route I'd rather Garner and rankin got their chance ,however don't get me wrong or take this the wrong way ,I truly hope these guys work out for us,I just get the feeling they're numbers to please the fans rather than the manager.

Coventry City expect to complete the loan signings of a striker and a winger this morning.

The 18-year-old duo from top-end Premier League and Championship clubs are expected to go straight into the squad to face Bradford City at Sixfields tomorrow.

Steven Pressley said: "They are young players with energy and hunger to prove themselves. We are hoping to complete the paperwork by mid-day and they are ready to play tomorrow."

"After continuing his good form into the 2013–14 season with the under-21 squad, Petrasso was rewarded with a loan move to League One side Oldham Athletic on 22 November 2013"

If thats a reward, coming to CCFC must be a punishment, wonder what he's done
:D

Petrasso is expected to be joined at Sixfields by Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom, who recently spent a month with Brentford.

I love the ambiguity of this quote. I remember looking along the bookshop shelves for a read at an airport before jetting off on my summer holiday one year.

I came across a dust jacket that had splashed across its front, "You will look hard to find a better read." Needless to say I did keep looking and bought something else!
