How come its only a 28 day loan, just a stop gap until Marshall and Mcgeouch get up to fitness?
Trolling.....
Chuba Akpom from Arsenal is said to be the striker
yup that council 10 pt deduction really fucked us up
Too little too late
We are 11 points behind top six with a depleted squad and in all honesty struggling.
I think you really know the root cause !!!
Just stick your fingers in your ears and go "la, la, la, la" all the horrid comments about ACL will just fade away...

Or you do the same, keep on turning up at Sixfields, Billing Aquadrome or wherever it is we play football thins week, and keep telling yourself our owners are in it for the love of the cub

or 1 pt off top 6 without deduction with a squad that can beat any team in league on their day and with plenty of time to find form...
Heard the same rumour....
You are that hopeful after Notts County, and our stuttering firepower and continual habit of conceding goals.
But we are not 1pt off the play offs and are currently without the Clark Wilson combo. Some players like Moussa haven't committed themselves to the club.listen to yourself. how could a team that would be 1pt off playoffs in february not be hopeful??????

Now don't read this as all doom and gloom, but there is an argument for only cautious optimism.

but we are talking about the pts deduction, people saying too little too late cant then go and pretend pts deduction has not mattered.
Because as we have seen, a lot of our points and goals and wins we were when we had the ability to score more than the opposition. Without Clarke and Callum still not back (and a while before he is upto speed) It is sense and a knowledge of football that tells me that. Coupled together with the fact we played and won those games on better pitches and in better conditions before teams had really worked us out. The next couple of months look like a long and hard slog. I think if we were sitting in the playoff positions without the 10 point deduction, we would still struggle to stay there with the squad we have and the amount of games coming up in a short space of time on crap pitches
But we aren't going to get them back either so you have to look at the situation as it is not as it might have been. If Wilson had not got injured and Clarke not left the deduction might not have mattered? But we are not in that situation are we?
10pt deduction fucked us up. its mathematics.
It would make some of you appear a little less one-eyed if you just accepted that the 10 point deduction was unnecessary and likely spiteful. PWKH would presumably agree with that, seeing as the Higgs side of ACL wanted to accept the CVA.

your arguing a different point though hobo. ppl cant talk about 11pts gaps for playoffs but then at same time take offence to any post that says 10pt deduction fucked us up. its mathematics.
I am trying to look at things in perspective, rather than Get bogged in every other posters slanted argument.
You have to take the table as it stands. Yes I occasionally add the points on for a sense of perspective. But let's not get hung up on a what if situation. It's a bit like when you have games in hand. You can go through the various permutations. But you are still where you are until you pick those points up.
It needs to be kept in the back of the mind so a true assessment of progress can be made. Pressley does deserve praise and so do a lot of young footballers who have stepped up to the plate. Also people like Andy Webster, he has been a steady influence...many were quick to criticise his early form. Similar at County loads of fans round me were having a go at Fonz. Did he play well? No but the whole team were poor. he didn't receive a service and has been here 5 minutes. Plus it would be wrong to try and make a direct comparison with Clarke.but it needs to be taken into account. pressley has amassed 10 more pts than the table shows. so he deserves praise for that as do the players.
Maybe so but it doesn't dismiss the fact that Sisu could have prevented it but they chose not to !!!
jesus christ every fucking thread that gets started turns into a SISU vs ACL argument. What an absolute joke.
"Got some promising new signings!!!"
"yeah but we wouldnt need them if it wasnt for ACL/SISU......." FUCK OFF
