Just looked at the vids on CT site, this guy is very Wilson like but with more composure and finesse. get him fit and firing alongside Tudgay or Miller and I reckon we could do good things this time.

The cherry on the icing would to have seat 7, row P, Block 31 again and I would be a happy old Sky Blue..................it has to happen cos nothing else makes any sense now. PUSB

a new cb or cm coupled with a return to the ricoh will now probably take me or orgasm, im starting to get excited #pusb

Was having exactly the same thought mustang.

One more CB, a holding midfielder and back home to the Ricoh.

Not necessarily in that order.

If he was that happy about our interest, why not sign sooner? :thinking about:

Anyway, that aside, he's here now, he's a decent striker (til we train it out of him atleast) and I look forward to seeing him in a City shirt :D

Maybe to save a bit in wages whilst he got a bit fitter, waiting for him to not get a better offer so he would take a lower offer from us........or both.

Im in the orgy group im afraid, sign that bloke from Brentford who looks a beast and a quality cb and a ricoh return and I think I am going to cream my pants and I haven't even seen the cheerleaders at half time yet.

TRANSFER NEWS: Steven Pressley comes right out and confirms the club will be signing a striker today.

Signing will add real competition in the striker area. Pressley very pleased with the capture. Unknown player not match fit and it will take two or three weeks to get up to get up to speed.

Simeon Jackson is my guess given the comment about match fitness. Not a target man but good striker at this level - Jackson and Tudgay have comparible records to clarke and mcgoldrick so pleased to have players of that quality up front. Would like a big unit though as think we still miss the direct approach - especially with the crosses Haynes is putting in.

I think this is a very good signing.. If we can get Jackson fit and firing we should have quite a player on our hands.

Jackson could be a good signing. Let's give him time to bed in.

Don't think we will see the best of him until he is paired with an out and out target man. Over the next few weeks he will be good to bring on to stretch teams in the last 20 mins especially if we are leading in games.

Should bring plenty to the table ,hugely experienced and a good record .

Shame he couldn't have come three or four weeks back.

Possibly the product of a bit of collusion between Pressley and Alan Poole with that Huddersfield Article .;)

Yes, but if he is a flop they can always say "he never had a pre-season".......
