Siriki Dembele at Peterborough has handed in a transfer request was seen above Godden in the pecking order, Or maybe Armand Gnanduillet 6,4 physical player basically what Baka should be maybe he could teach Baka to through his weight around, Or maybe Obafemi Im sure he was loan listed by Southampton would be a decent pick up on loan.

Hasn’t Mcanthony said that they want £5m minimum for Dembele. And isn’t he more of a winger than a striker?

Siriki dembele is out of contract at the end of the season so I’d imagine Peterborough would have to accept anything around 2 million but were in no position to pay that can see him going to one of the Scottish 2

We desperately need to add to get a better level of striker (when fit think just Tyler has top half potential) midfield has stepped up a notch or two.

We are unlikely to ever (this transfer window or next) buy a striker for multiple millions.

Someone like Armand is a possibilty we are in the market where we have to take a punt on a couple who we hope will take to the level like duck to water. We cant buy the finished article.

We now have 5 loans I believe (Giles, mccallum, sheaf, James, Ostigard). Only allowed 5 in a match day squad.

A bit annoying that as one has essentially been our player for a few years whereas the other will be joining us if we stay up.

Wonder if we can sign Sheaf permanently now. That would enable us to get an extra loan in and would have the added benefit of winding up a few fans on here too.

I'd definitely look to do that if we want to bring in another loanee.
From Robins & Badlan's comments at the time though I think it was structured like that so the fee for him didn't come out of this season's budget. With being BCD even longer than feared it's probably not an option.

He has been playing striker for them I thought

edit: if you look at the transfer center website you can see his positions

Definitely haven’t but I asked have you ?

Well no, but the argument is why not try Bapaga, our own development player, instead of going for someone, priced at £15m, on loan. Think they’d want higher level for him. Shocking price with next to no professional experience.

Robins will in time but remember he is only 17 imo we need a striker now even if we add Crowley to the James addition.
Balogun is available on a free is highly thought of probably played with young Sheaf, apparently Swansea rumoured to be interested.
