Why did he not bring tudgay on? We needed somebody to hold it up or win it in the air.

To take Phillips off for odelusi, then nouble to the left and job right back was a bit random.

It was leftfield but made sense to me Nick. Tudgay would have been dropping into the hole that Maddison was brought on to exploit. I thought sticking Odelusi up front added pace and thought JOB to RB was to make the supply into the box more consistent.

Reda should have been up top on the 60th minute.

I agree, but another attacker dropped to midfield and the midfielder dropped back to defence.

Still one less defensive player on the pitch. I get where you're coming from though. If he brings one defender off for an attacker, he'll still need to reshuffle so stick JOB back there knowing he could probably cover at RB or right of a back 3 and still get forward and deliver a cross. Which he did for the goal.

I'm annoyed that he hasn't been playing Turgott. Looked great at Posh away, bags of energy and got in behind the defence for a vital goal. He's continued to bag for the 21's yet can't force his way into the worst strike force we've had since the days of Clive platt.

We build quite well up to the final 3rd and then become stuck for ideas. The only time we look like creating a goal scoring opportunity is when we break quickly as we were doing in the early stages of the game.

We didn't lose because of the subs. We lost because we let in 3 goals against the worst scoring side in the division. It was always a mistake to rely on Lee Burge in a relegation battle.
