Suited and Booted (1 Viewer)

Did anybody notice our injured players and Ponticelli were all suited and booted? On the videos Stokes and Robins both suited too.

Last season it was training gear I think.

Was George Thomas at the game today?

Most likely part of the deal they had to get suits for Wembley, remember the tailors having an article on the club website about striking a deal, imagine it was more than just one days outfits for the publicity it might have brought them.

Quite like he has got them all suited, bit of discipline! :)
What! No big head phones and a shower bag under their arm pretending that they haven't seen or heard us?

I was in the posh bit today for my free meal, great experience and lovely meal. I'm sure Willis was in a tracksuit but went off and changed into a suit before kick off. Another great idea by the club, how professional are we going to look, with everyone stepping off the team bus looking sharp in tailored suits.

Was that the birthday one? How was it?

Yeah it was the free birthday gift. It was excellent, the food was delicious. Had an interview with the flying postman and ponticelli before the game and Micky Doyle after. The club deserve so much credit for the idea. It's something that they don't need to do but is a great gesture. From the moment we got there to when we left it was brilliant.

Did you sit just behind the benches for the game?

Not directly behind but near enough.

I know we're only 1 match in but I'm starting to believe Robins has truly cracked this decade of decline. The suits, Stokes saying we're a massive club, the leaders he's brought in on the pitch, shipping out all the deadwood - all little indicators that we're set up for success and he's clearly got the players believing in themselves and that they are playing for a club who simply shouldn't be in L2. Got a funny feeling about this year, think we'll be in the top 3 all season :cigar:

I'm trying to keep my feet on the ground as I've been left disappointed by the sky blues on many many occasions BUT I am feeling confident that Robbins is beginning to get the club and players doing little things that may make all the difference come May.
