Bit harsh on JCS I think he’s been good.

Bright 1/10 and that 1 is for meme value.

Kane: Can’t tell yet, wasn’t massively impressed by his cameo yesterday but can’t tell anything from ten mins on the pitch.

Maybe you shouldn't comment on bright given your moaning about Moore?

Its a signings so far thread and so far he’s been a joke. I said Moore was a gamble. He’s paid off and I’ve said that. Some of us change our opinions when the facts change, some of us keep our opinions so rigidly we end up supporting the Blackburn manager…

You mean the manager that went on to get promoted?

Thanks for proving I am always right

Your comments on Moore were ridiculous lets be honest. You couldn't wait to reserve judgment you just mad dup so many concerns about him

And bright has been a shit signing so far as he hasn't played. I still have faith in his talent but I can't see MR using him for a little while yet

I said he was a gamble. People lost their shit, I explained why I thought that, people lost more of their shit 🤷🏻‍♂️

But the concerns were legitimate concerns. He hadn’t played in 3 years. That’s a long time. We bought the guy in to be our number one, with no evidence that he was better than what we had.

A concern doesn’t mean “he’s shit, and going to be a terrible signing” as it turns out currently Moore is a massive upgrade on what we and a pre-season was all he needed.

i wasn’t necessarily concerned myself, but it’s an understandable and logical concern given the importance of the position

But surely there needs to be balance? He might not be better than Maria. Bit he might be better than marosi as a prem club kept him on their books.

Isn’t Lee Grant on Man Utd’s books? Is he Man Utd class? , it’s probably the same as Ben Wilson getting a new contract, on low wages - club happy to keep him for the duration as he’s a serviceable keeper as a 3rd choice

but that’s why it’s a gamble which @shmmeee said - he “might” be better than Marosi. Turns out he was. But it was just concerns, he never wrote the guy off - he wanted to wait until he saw him before commenting

More or less agree though I think yesterday was Waghorn’s best game yet. A lot more mobile, chasing down the opposition and getting himself about. The goal should do him a lot of good on top of the sharpness

Don't forget good comments on Hyam and Macallum.

Maatsen. Is ok. I'd rate him so far as adequate. He's no Macallum.

Pretty much agree though I think Waghorn deserves at least another 0.5, maybe another 1.

Don’t see an issue with someone changing their mind when concerns (or over optimism) prove to be very wide of the mark, would be better if more acted that way instead of the rigid stubbornness to be ‘right’

Waghorn was my ‘concern’ and he did well yesterday, still want to see more though.

Much prefer Maatsen to McCallum, but I think my disagreement here comes down to how you see the wing back position. I think it’s key to our attacking play which is a big difference in how we’re playing this season, others see it as a defensive position and prioritise that

I think they are all a bit conservative your ratings.
I'd give everyone an extra point apart from Maatsen. 7 is about right for him.

Think we miss the long throw actually, perhaps worth one of the wing backs putting in some extra time to add it to our game.

It's my opinion. Macallum is better at going forward too. Can't see Maatsen scoring and his end product crossing isn't great at the moment.

Also his long throws are a big miss.

Like working on your weak foot, Ill never understand why players don’t seem to try to add long throws to their game. Surely it’s a combination of strength and technique which can be trained?

I will eat humble pie over Waghorn.

His last 2 games he's been top notch. And fuck me did he deserve that goal.

He certainly for me shown everything I expected in the 70 mins at QPR and yesterday's 90.

That's the level he needs to stay at.

Certainly can, perhaps we don’t see it as a priority but given the trouble McCallum caused with it last season I’m a bit surprised

Definitely, and I will be ordering a supersize slice of humble pie with extra “you were wrong” sauce if he keeps this going

Gyokeres is top for me, maybe even higher than Moore- the guy is a machine, I think he’s doing brilliantly and you can see there’s more to come yet 💪
