Has Southgate coached every bit of creativity out of this side?? none of them play like this for their Clubs, so what has the twat done to them? Saka and Palmer take players on in the Prem and Foden is just like a lost child for England, not anything like he plays for Citeh.

Ok I'm gonna say the unsayable... the problem is Kane. (And Southgate for wearing blinkers about him)

Kane is part of the problem but it's the pace we are playing at and the lack of bravery with our passing . Foden for example wants to receive the ball under pressure , it's when he works best on the half turn . Bellingham is being played way too high and it is negating his physical attributes.
Mainoo and Palmer did enough to warrant a start next game and Gordon needs more minutes to be an effective impact sub. Would start Trent at RB cause we still need his passing ability and move Walker to LB

Palmer should have played before last night he’s the in form guy
Not sure what’s up with Kane he doesn’t look fit and also Bellingham in the last couple of games
Guehi has done well but has a mistake in him
Trippier is not a left or left wing back
Rice isn’t the same player for arsenal and England - I suppose who is
Groups are for getting out of we have finished top unlike a few others of the normally good teams
Let’s see if we can step it up in the knockouts
We’re gonna have to

Personally think he'll be a solid addition. Championship pedigree, proven goalscorer and decent age. He can also play wider.

He's a strong direct player and if he's happy to join knowing he'll have to go up against Simms for the shirt then great
Of course in Robins et al we trust. Just don't see much further development in him. 25 yo now, championship his level at best. Rather try and pluck someone with bigger upside. But look I think he is a better option that Godden now.

Not every player we sign has to be of the development type. We do need experience and pedigree in the mix. Think McNair, Browne & co.

The front end of the pitch would be ridiculous if we got him in. Certainly finished shopping for that area if true.

So we have effectively replaced Binks with Binks, replaced COH with Rudoni, gained EMC and Rodriguez and lost Kelly, Moore, Fadz, Eghosa, Stretton and Rus. Our squad size is now smaller than when we finished the season with. I really hope that there are some incomings coming soon. The incoming so far look quality and its exciting hence the baited breathe for more. DK means business.

Eghosa and Rus were hardly anywhere near the first team squad were they. You included them just to validate your comment that the squad was smaller. McFadzean hasnt been with us since January as well.

Moore, Stretton, Eghosa and Rus didn't play so it's irrelevant really

We've outgrown all the players leaving. The only one you wouldn't want to leave really is O'Hare, that's it. We're already in a better place even with the small amount of recruitment we've done, by the start of the season we'll be looking at something far superior.

All correct. Fadz still needs replacing which is why we have been linked with Worrall and Doyle (if that was serious)

Can we get promoted with who we currently have? Yes if they can play all 46 matches without injury / fatigue hence why a few extras are still needed

Stratton Rus and Eghosa never bothered the first team. Moore never bothered the squad and Fadz left in Jan. It’s not that bad. Still expect another 3-4 through the door of the right quality.

Moore, Fadz, Eghosa, Stretton and Rus were never going to play a game though so i'd say the net affect is +1 (EMC and Rodriguez for Kelly)

Back to Thomas Asante please

Fuck I hope not. Hardly prolific and majority of his career in the lower leagues

We should be targeting players who can step up if we were to go up.

This guys records so far don’t show that. Bit merhh

Yeah get you - always looked good when i've seen him play though. Going to be hard to convince someone really good when theyre clearly going to be behind Simms and potentially Wright for the striker role
