Not saying it's the solution in any way but we do have Howley, Burroughs and Obikwu returning to the squad, purely in terms of numbers.

Yes but last season we were late back due to extra time off for the play offs extending the season and late getting started. This season they supposedly had a plan early

At young age not simple as that. Different environment/better players to play with/ better coaching / luck can make huge difference at that age. Imagine it’s low cost so worth gamble.

Because they probably realise Coventry can develope their talent better? Perhaps the players think they will be coached better at Coventry?

It happens all the time youth players move between clubs. Believe it or not they often have agents too.
