Yes but it's basically pennies. Think it would be around £75k and you don't get any sell-on percentages.

Clubs like City make big offers to the families, not just the players, that can be impossible to turn down. A free house, private schooling for all your kids etc.

FA should change it so the bigger club has to give a 35% sell on as well as any compensation owed. Its totally unfair that smaller clubs are shafted

He’s 15. The odds of him even making it through to our first team are slim. To have a sell on like that would be ridiculous

Charlie McCann is a more recent one too

Not good for a kid to be dazzled by the potential high-life at a glamorous PL club, only to be pimped out to lower league teams later on, where he may not even develop and could slip into obscurity - mainly because of this ‘well if Man City thought I was good enough, why don’t Folkestone’ mentality that sets in.

Hope he’s quite grounded.

Haven’t heard anyone mention him, before, to be honest, so it’s a bit hard for me to be outraged.
