We really need a sheaf understudy this year so if we go don’t go up when don’t have to get two next year
Ok. I don’t agree but that’s fine.
I suspect you have not watched that much of Billing this last 18 months.
Will you stop itSome rather posh cars just arriving at Ryton apparently

So you are talking about the second season now too to make your arguement?
I don't disagree about your view on the swap deal being better for us by the way. I just don't like people taking selective stats to back an argument.
I'd also say that the jury is out on both Torp & Eccles as starters in a top 6 side. It’s really not, we now have 5 players for 3 spots. And one of those is Allen, who let’s be honest has no place starting for a playoffs side. One or two injuries and we’re screwed.
I think Simms has underperformed slightly for the fee we've paid , he did grow into the season then fell off again .. but accept he's young and can still improve , but he's started the season pretty slow too
Another Peterborough signing at lastSome rather posh cars just arriving at Ryton apparently
It has been known to happen
Yes it is. Last year we had the same options and we’ve swapped O’Hare for Rudoni. What’s the issue? It’s not really panic over nothing though is it
After his comments the other day, I can see this being true.as I said. palmer and robins had a massive fall out and there was no going back from it
We hoped Torp would be adequate to fill in for Hamer. Still time. He'll look better with Sheaf back as will everyone else. I'd say we had better chase a back up for Sheaf rather than chase some mythical Hamer cloneWe've not replaced Hamer, O'Hare or Palmer. But it's ok, we have Asante.
Was this the one where he essentially said he was inconsistent but a good talent? After his comments the other day, I can see this being true.
We are a few games in to the season, give it a rest eh. Simms is a class asset that we shouldn't be chopping in at a whim. We need good attacking options that score goals and he is one. Get him back on a confident streak and he will be back banging them in as proven last year.I think Simms has underperformed slightly for the fee we've paid , he did grow into the season then fell off again .. but accept he's young and can still improve , but he's started the season pretty slow too

A lot of the goal’s conceded though are due to the defence being under constant pressure due to the lack of protection because by the substandard DM’s in front of them.RB is not that much of a concern because MVE has proven his durability and Lati playing the odd game to deputise is decent enough. My concern is that we concede soft goals and that will cost us more points than MVE being injured for a stretch. The same, to a lesser extent, could be said for the midfield too.
What’s interesting about the Peruvian RB linked with earlier is that he plays LB too…
Torp and Eccles are fine as replacements, rotation. The problem is when they're forced to play together. We just need another (better) midfielder alongside Sheaf. We hoped Torp would be adequate to fill in for Hamer. Still time. He'll look better with Sheaf back as will everyone else. I'd say we had better chase a back up for Sheaf rather than chase some mythical Hamer clone
Said what everyone thinks and Palmer’s ego couldn’t take itWas this the one where he essentially said he was inconsistent but a good talent?
I don't care, it's what I have been told and I've had more hits than misses.I don’t believe it for a second. Billing is contracted till 2027 and probably earning almost double what our top earners are on. I also can’t see him wanting the move at all, he was performing well in the prem but just doesn’t suit the new manager’s system. He would have much better options than us if he was to leave.
Guys, we are still confident of a double/triple signing announcement at 5pm, aren’t we?
Aren’t we???
Torp has been with us for a few months with MR saying he needed tome to get up to speed. We aren't buying ready made players but you can see he has a talent! We hoped Torp would be adequate to fill in for Hamer. Still time. He'll look better with Sheaf back as will everyone else. Chelsea have made a bid.Was searching GIFS of 'Countdown' and seem to have found Rachel Riley smearing Nutella on herself. Close the thread.
He’s was 3.5m upfront, scored 19 last season and by all accounts has had prem interest. You’re a tough man to please evo !
